Indeed, I did miss that one. We even have a fairly good idea about what it is like. Basically it is a character riding a customized purple shark that is also done up in Martian Banshee gear. They can safely get off the shark if it is blown out from under them during the fight and allow you to take a single Martian Banshee squad as a core troop choice. So anyone looking to do a Capitol airborne list will definitely want one of these. Can't wait to get my book (and the rest of my stuff for that matter) and see for myself.
Hopefully wont be too much longer.

So, from the last update, it seems that all of the starters should be done now. Does this mean that US/Canada orders are going to start shipping? I'd really like to get my Cybertronic and Bauhaus figures.
Also, hell yes! Someone is finally making some 28mm K-9 teams! I am all over those.

Well, out of what has been finished (I pledged for a few wave 2 items like the Eradicator and Grizzly) it was 100% correct. So far, from what I've looked at, there are no major casting errors.
My first impressions are that they look stunning in terms of small details. Haven't popped them next to anything for scale yet, but the proportions look like they'd fit with Infinity stuff quite well (everything is largely well proportioned). The amount of flash on them is something I'm not used to but I've heard it tends to be common for resin mixes like this, and it cleans up really easy. The only other weird bit is how large the vents are. But luckily the material is easy to work with, so cutting through large chunks actually isn't a big deal.
I haven't spotted any obvious miscasts yet but, well, there is tons of stuff to dig through in there. So that may be a while coming.
But I've done some random spot checks on various kits and it all looks to be great. Had a boo at the Venusian Rangers, Chasseurs (the ones that one bloke apparently had a miscast of) and my Samurai and they all looked great. The only big difference I could see in things was that they definitely improved their use of their own techniques as they pumped out more kits. The Chasseurs look great (and were their first full mock-up along with the Undead Legionnaires) but the stuff I got for Mishima is just plain fantastic in terms of quality. But that is a pretty usual story for most mini-makers. Just look at early Corvus Belli minis compared to now. The only surprising bit is how fast it evolved.
Now I can see the same excellent attention to detail in the remade Crucifier suit they showed off recently. Can't wait to see what the redone heavies look like when Wave 2 rolls around.
Also, I'm impressed by all the little updates in the rules to help balance things out. The Dark Legion got a lot of nice boosts to bring them in line with the other lists (especially the Praetorian Stalkers who needed a bit of a push). The extra time that flood bought them was well spent. One of the best looking rule books I own. It'll look good next to my Infinity and MERCS books, definitely in the top three for overall style.
I'm also interested to dig in to the cards. It was my favourite bit about the early beta, but they, well, held their cards close to their chest for a lot of the campaign.
The production value on them is really good and it looks like each faction has a fairly flavourful set of cards. Just need to see what they all do and start constructing a few decks for testing. I'm definitely excited to see what this adds to the game. But either way, I have been up organizing and gazing long enough. I need sleep... and tomorrow I will need the super glue supply of my whole city to get to work on this. So much stuff.

Most likely, things seem to be reaching critical mass here and people are starting to get packages all over the place. Exciting times.
In other news, constructed my first Bauhaus deck to go with my V-Ranger army. Haven't poured over the other card pools yet but Bauhaus has some great flavour in there. A lot of strategy cards (so they play slow and steady with no massive ability to spam) and very few tactical cards. And a lot of cards dedicated to battlefield control and massed bombardment.
Between spider infested terrain, the booby traps of my Rangers and the big guns, this should be pretty interesting in play.
I also like the economic games they play with a few cards. Uranium Deposit is an interesting card that is a bit of a dual-edged sword. The first model to cap it provides 2 Resources until the end of the turn, but then they need to eat a St 18 hit to the face (which is big enough to scare even large units). It pairs nicely with Bauhaus's economy control/denial card Spiraling Cost which forces your opponent to tap out if they spend even one resource.
Meanwhile, Bauhaus (owing to their naturally good stats) have only a few stat-buff cards (though the ones they have are quite nice). Mostly things that boost armour or leadership and willpower (though they have a few specialized ones with some nasty effects). They are also quite low on ammo-swap cards (and get very few as gear cards) as their basic rifle allows for both piercing and blast. But it tends to mean they are a bit less flexible than a faction that can swap around ammo-types more freely.
Overall, the cards add a lot of interesting flavour to the lists and get you to look at things in a new light. Bauhaus, with cards, looks to specialize in grinding the enemy down with massed firepower, field control and even economic penalties. Their basic troops are quite good and so receive very little specialist equipment in terms of cards. So while we pay more and know what we're getting in to, other forces can luck in to similar ability sets, so we have to make sure not to let our inflexibility get the best of us. But through clever use of our penchant for indirect control, we should be able to leverage our natural abilities very nicely. They definitely feel like a very traditionalist military faction, which means the rules are doing their job.

I'm starting to get anxious. Want my stuff now, can't wait to pour over the rulebook (and complain a lot ) and the make your own hero stuff as I went quite hero heavy on the KS on the assumption that I might use my old WZ stuff for the basic troopers.

Yeah, now that the weekend is rolling up I will have a proper chance to look at the rules (mostly skimmed army lists to see the new stuff and check the changes since beta).
The Bauhaus artillery unit is looking like fun. Basically a small unit of Hussar with an attached big gun. Should make for a nice blast-everything-to-hell list alongside some Hussar (large squads with LMGs to suppress people and keep 'em in place for more bombardment!).
And not sure if this will make you feel better or worse. But I've begun to build.
With a bit of clipping the Etoile Mortant heads are a perfect fit on the Venusian Rangers.
And another shot for Max Steiner, the baddest in Bauhaus.
I've also got most of a Vulkan built, but I need to finish its base up before I strap the legs on.
Hopefully I'll have enough for 1000 point list done by the end of the weekend and then I can get started on small demo forces for Cybertronic and Mishima. Here's hoping your stuff comes soon (and for that matter I hope my buddy's stuff heads up soon so I can get some games in!). Good luck!

Having 'em in my hands makes me love them even more. I like the more simplistic helmet and the nice little touches on the model. I don't know what it is, but they feel like a commando unit. Little things like a survival knife on their bracers, the various bits of kit hanging from their webbing and the style of them. They just feel like bad arse jungle commandos and look the part to boot. I'm also loving the look of the cloaks as well.
I can see why some folks don't like them of course, but so far they are some of my favourite minis in the line. Though I'm definitely leaving one of my squads unbuilt until I can grab the add-on bits (I think they have a few classic skull-masks in that one which I want for a squad that will be done up as campaign veterans to accompany Max).
I'm also loving the variety of poses actually firing their guns as well. It just makes minis look the business in my mind (some are even doing it while aiming!).

Square peg on the first ones just to get a feel for it. I may get adventurous with later ones. I've also got to say that I love that the material has just enough give (and bonds with super-glue so nicely) that small errors in pose can be corrected with glue. The arms holding the weapon in each shot were a millimetre or two off of perfect alignment but all I needed to to was bend the gun toward the hand with a daub of super glue on the bottom and they matched perfectly. Quite nice as I usually despite gluing minis together when holding rifles with both hands (in non-styrene at least). This means I can fix a pose even when the glue has set.
But I think I may have a few of my next ones "at rest" with their weapons lowered and moving forward. The material is easy enough to convert that going without the peg should yield great results as well.
Oh and a note on the Vulkan (not sure if this was mentioned yet). But the legs are ball-and-socket jointed, so it should be quite versatile in terms of posing.

I've checked 'em over already. Surprisingly the shoulderpads come attached on them (which I'm personally thankful for, but I know some folk wanted 'em detached). They come with a fairly good variety of heads as well (including a few of my favourite 1st Edition Hussar-style ones.
They look to be a fairly nice kit, but I haven't done any up yet.
I started on one of the Juggernauts, though, and despite my first few looks at the production mini not giving me a hugely positive impression. Now that I see it in the flesh, it is much less oddly proportioned than I first thought. Still a bit more space between the top of the head and the top of the implied shoulders than I would like, but the effect isn't so weird. And shaving down on the weapon pegs to allow the underslung weaponry to sit flush on the arms makes them look a lot less gangly.
Though the flame thrower is perhaps a bit too skinny in places for my taste. Not the strongest mini in Bauhaus, but a lot better than I thought it would be. I am not disappointed to own a squad of them.
RiTides wrote:Thanks for the pics, Ronin! Very, very curious what people think of the quality of the Warzone minis / casts, as I'm pledging for AvP. So, this is encouraging
The sculpt quality is excellent, I wish I could get in on the AvP KS campaign, but I just have no money to spare right now. It looks like they took a lot of lessons they learned with their earlier Warzone stuff and applied to to the AvP minis. They look to be on par with a lot of the later campaign Warzone sculpts which are some of the best minis I've seen in a while. I wouldn't be too worried on quality front.

You can order online from their store right now and things will ship off reasonably quickly (they are still in the middle of manufacturing everything and KS backers tend to get priority, but a few non-KS folk have received small orders already). Though they wont come in any kind of retail packaging right now (baggies for the win!). Retail will likely be a bit later since they need to get distributors lined up (though they seem to be making ties with CMoN in their latest KS, so maybe WZ will get in on that as well).

Just a quick review of my stuff. I have only put together most of my Capitol army and my Mishima starter.
The Good
- Detail is great.
- "Procast" is easy to work with.
- Book is high quality and the rules are great
- I have A LOT of models!!
- The game is serious fun!!!
The Bad
- My box was damaged badly but nothing was broken.
- 2/3 (10/15) of my Sea Lions are miscast, it looks like the mold slipped to the left making the casting misaligned. This is really frustrating.
- I have A LOT of models and not a lot of hobby time oops my bad.

New update!
The Blue Shark/Sanders the Banshee and Logoed Templates wrote:
Hello everyone
Well in the last update we mentioned some product that we were waiting for approval for, well we have it.
1st The Blue Shark/Sanders the Banshee a Warlord/Lord for Capitol.
He will be available very shortly for £14.99 for both models:
https://d2pq0u4uni88oo.cloudfront.net/assets/001/383/955/43d40aba132fbdc78b2a564cd686e553_h264_high.mp4
Sanders the Banshee
The Blue Shark
And now for something completely different. We are working with 'Gamer Templates' to make hand made acrylic templates for each faction. They will shortly be available from our website ( www.warzonegame.com) for £25 a set:
And to whet the appetite (available in April):
So that is the last of the Three Brothers pledged characters in the pipe and some really nice faction-specific templates on the way! Though apparently after some feedback, the Cap and Cyber ones will be getting tweaked.
As an aside, finally got to sit down and start painting some test minis. But I need to get some more stuff down and assembled before the weekend hits, otherwise I wont have a table to have a games night on (Ogre and Warzone came about a week apart... storage is getting tight).

Shipping is far from complete the image below is from the 25th Nov update
and shows they have 230 pledges still to ship (and some that have shipped will still be in transit), and what is still in production mini wise
(basically if it's on the list above and you ordered it you've definitely not shipped yet)
