This... this is what I was afraid of.
I was super excited about IA12 but after seeing the bomber, and now this, I'm pretty fairly pessimistic about it. The first warning sign was when they released the melta wasps, which, as I said when they were released, looked like someone at Forge World was handed a unassembled Wraith and Tomb Spyder and said "make something different with this, using no new parts".
The new pylon doesn't look like a Forge World kit. it looks like a conversion made by someone with moderate talent who bought 4 Catacomb Command barges.
The new bike looks very much the same - they took a Barge, assembled it a little differently, and added a single resin piece to it: a shroud that doesn't even really fit the aesthetic (although it's probably WIP here so the groove and notches may just not be present yet).
I look to Forgeworld for exciting new models I can't get elsewhere, awesome ideas that just scream "premium aftermarket". Like these!
Unfortunately at this point it looks like GWS proper really cornered the market on that for Necrons. I really wanted this to be an awesome book, but from what i've seen now they simply aren't putting a lot of effort into the Necron stuff.

They are probably saving Fulgrim for the Heresy weekender. He is at the casting phase apparently. And work is being done on Ferrus Manus, with a duel base to put him and Fulgrim together in.

It certainly doesn't look anything like the Epic 40000 whirlwinds, which were pretty identical to the 2nd edition model.

That was the E:A Hunter AA vehicle, IIRC, not a Whirlwind.

You are correct. I remembered seeing the model in Space Marine (the game armies) but never seen it named until Epic came out were I seen it referred to as a Whirlwind. Thank you
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Hunter#.UWF8FpPFWOc
The Hunter Multi-Launcher is an anti-aircraft support vehicle based on the Rhino chassis.[1] A variant of the Whirlwind, it is based on STC data which is much older than the more recent Whirlwind Hyperios.[3]
The Hunter is the first known dedicated anti-aircraft platform fielded by the Adeptus Astartes. Prior to the discovery of the STC for the Hunter, Space Marine forces had attempted to retrofit various designs to the Whirlwind artillery vehicle, with largely negative results.[1] Though a stable pattern of anti-aircraft Whirlwind was ultimately achieved in the Hyperios, several Chapters have continued to use the Hunter on many battlefields, including the recent Third War for Armageddon.[3]
The hunter missile used by the multi-launcher is faster and more accurate than those used by Whirlwinds, with unfolding fins to help guide it to the target, and the vehicle itself has a longer operational range. The missile is guided by a large scanning array that features an algorithmic precognitive targeter located opposite the cylindrical missile feed. STC Hunters feature one launch tube fed by a single rotary system, but some Techmarines have modified their charges with pairs launch units and a central sensor suite for improve efficiency

Probably not.
But if I had to hazard a guess...
Troll Mother: We're looking at a few months for this lady. She's still very much a WIP.
Merwyrm: Within the next month, at least, given that the showcased model was an actual cast from whatever mold they're using.
IA12 and associated products: Within the next month.
Fulgrim: Fairly soon, unless they hold off on releasing him until Ferrus is done. Report was that Fulgrim is "done" and that they're just waiting for the molds to be finished.
The rest of the Horus Heresy stuff? No clue on. It might depend if they're waiting for the next book to be ready or if they just want to slam the market at once with it.

Which Destroyer squad?
There's the one which was on presale at the Open Day yesterday...and then there's going to be a variant with jump packs.
The one that was on presale at Open Day will likely be available in the next few weeks.

Well, as far as I was aware there was only the one without Jump Packs and that's what I had my eye on. Given it was one of the images used in the Open day preview I figured it might be available on the day and therefore be on track for imminent general release. Guess I'll just have to a wait a few weeks. Thanks for the info.

Nothing earthshatteringly huge. Horus Heresy novels are going to be announced the week before their release.
That is all. The rest of the novel lines are not going to be affected, just the Horus Heresy novels.

Trust Kan to downplay another idiotic move by GW as if it were nothing.
GW's paranoid policy of only announcing new products seconds before they are released (for fear we'll get board and wander off to stare at a wall or something... their reasoning has never had a lot of 'reason' to it) now applies to HH books. So you won't know what they are or when until they're just about to hit. Fun for the whole family.
Forge World remains the one adult in that group, perfectly capable of understanding just how you promote and preview upcoming products to generate interest (y'know, like most companies do...).
