For me it is my Doom. I watch people faces when I bring in my Doom and they literally deflate. Almost all of the time I have to hear, " I hate the Doom!". We played in a store game -- 13 player Chaos vs Imperials vs Aliens for the 1st Crusades of Fire mission. The Imperials dropped 25 Terminators on the center objective by deep strike. I dropped the Doom and killed 17 of them. 2 Turns later they killed the Doom and the whole store cheered including my fellow Zenos. I said, "WTFudge you are on my team," and they said,"Yeah but we hate the Doom."

The other is my Fortress of Redemption. I always hear, "If get $100.00 I'll drop one down and see how you feel." Well go ahead sheesh. Is it really winning the game thru cash? I don't think so 40k is an Expensive hobby. I can field everything Gk and Nid I don't even want to know what I might have spent lol.

Every time I take Eldrad I see eyes roll, people make snide comments about Eldar cheese, and basically make it known that they hate Eldrad.

"Khorne is a noble warrior who respects strength and bravery, who takes no joy in destroying the weak, and considers the helpless unworthy of his wrath. It is said that fate will spare any brave warrior who calls upon Khorne's name and pledges his soul to the blood god. It is also said that Khorne's daemons will hunt down and destroy any warrior who betrays his honour by killing a helpless innocent or murdering in cold blood..."

Kind of the opposite. I usually get remarks about how the only reason I win is that nobody ever fields the units I choose since they're so horrible, and so they aren't used to facing them.

No-one really complains about much in our club. We 'ooo' and 'arrgh' a bit over how tough some units are like Nob Bikers, and the power of the aforementioned Doom. But most players balance their armies out with something less powerful or random, like Ork Weirdboyz.

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

As a Guard player I hate Doom and Mawloc.
I so hate Doom. It can quite literally munch threw a foot gun line all on its own. Then there is Mawloc a havoc to my mech vets, pair the two together and its just nom nom nom time.

I've had a few WTF comments due to me plonking 5 LRBT's on the table before.

Oh and my Dreadkinght is starting to make a name for its self. it has torn threw a TDA squads, a captain and a TAC squad. I love the dam thing

I get a bit of grief whenever my Wolf Priest with Saga of the Hunter outflanks with ten GH and a TDA WG with an assault cannon and open up on their closest unit.

What I hate is when my mate drops his Furioso Dreadnought on the board. Things go south very quickly when that thing comes out to play.

Yeah I hate Eldrad too but what else do the Eldar have? They have to field him.

I don't hate to see Leman Russ Tanks as I sometimes field a Vindi and 5 to 10 Monkeys w/ Coteaz. I love just putting Cotaez or Librian w/ the Vindi if they get Ignores cover.

I hate to see any flying circus (Necron or Guard) fielded.

My friends will joke about how much they hate my Flamers + Screamers since currently having the Eternal Warrior rule makes them utterly filthy, but it's always in good fun since I never spam either unit. (I've got 9 Flamers + 6 Screamers built right now, so hardly impossible to deal with)

However, there's a pair of local GK players who will cry cheese if they see even 3 Flamers in a list and thus, will pull out mass Warp Quake shinanagains because according to them, turn 1 auto-wiping w/Derp Quake is the only way to deal with my cheesey & broken Daemon army.
Most of the other 'uber competitive locals will also whine about Flamers/Screamers, even if I only bring say a single unit of 6 Flamers to a 1500pts game!

I will freely admit to hating mind shackle scarabs. When I play a buddy and he has five or six lords with mind shackle scarabs my whole army cries. For a fifteen point upgrade, it can win any game. Of course I play nids, and have lots of big monster guys.

I get compliants about eldrad/an other farseer - with ROW.

I get complaints about wraithguard and the wraithseer.

No complaints about anything else, so I figure I should get more wraithguard...

Can't say I've had the pleasure of facing deamons yet.

Oh another one that comes to mind is facing off against 30 termmies lead by Laysander, tiss a broken list and even if I can deal with them my guard usually don't have any teeth left to do any thing else come the last turn as the battering they get is liken to a red headed step child in Icewind Dale.

What is in your Necron army that hasn't lost?

Wow why wouldn't Tau field a rail gun that is silly to cry over a rail gun -- not like their RoF is silly. Disruption pods do annoy me but they aren't cheese. I also hate the Eldar max str option w/ only roll 1 die for pen on a transport. It was my very 1st game and I was up against Eldrad who countered my GKs perfectly and I had a Vindi for anti vehicle wasn't fun at all for a 1st game.

Yeah no one had played GKs before at my store. With Coteaz and Warp quake I have killed off countless Flamers, Drop Pods, Deep Strikers, and Demons. One Chaos player dropped a Obliterator right in front of Coteaz w/ 3 Plasma Cannons, 5 Monkeys, 3 Melta Acos, and a Tech marine that had reroll all misses up so I read him the coteaz power an he just frowns and dies horribly. What I don't get is next turn he drops his other 3 Oblits in trying hope one survives Coteaz. I mean seriously why not at least drop em 12' away. Then he cries about it after. I asked why not drop them 12 away and he said he wanted to be assault range next turn. Really how were they going survive 2 rounds of that?

My club wanted to run IA and Apoc units so badly. I was the lone voice against it.

Now they whine when Sevrin Loth or my 4 sponson Baneblade shows up.

However, my Brass Scorpion gets the lion's share of crying and whining. A few months ago he took out 1750 points of Tau... by himself, in three turns... that's what they get

I once saw a guy field eight Camo Net Leman Russ Executioners behind an Aegis line with four Techpriests running around fixing them. It was pretty hilarious, but I felt bad for the other guy and I don't blame him.

Also, people seem to get upset when you play Elysians and on turn 2 ten Valkyries fly on the board.

You'd think those 'Russ would make a nice target for some kind of artillery. Of course, not many armies have good Anti-Armour Artillery. >.>

I am surprised no one mentioned vendettas yet as almost every other thread contains a vendetta complaint.

I am pretty sick of seeing eldrad in every single eldar or eldar/dark eldar army. I make a point of killing him as quickly as possible out of spite.

This. As a Cron player I love my Barge but this one game where a swapped armies with my opponent I saw how terrifying the Tesla Destructor is.
It seems atm anything Necron gets complaints by most players. People are too used to a SM variant being top dog.

Personally I don't care for the StormRaven, a Av12 flying Box that wont DIE!
