Then I offer zero rubies

Also Oshunai, since the link didn't work in-game, here's what I sent you:

That's the island I claimed. You can see my effort with Prof to make a multifarm for biomass up top, and the little fort you visited on the bottom.

Got some tests for the new underwater place I'm building, what are people's thoughts?
Each wall is to be 3 blocks thick or so to fit in the wires. I could just change them to slabs with microblocks, but thinking about it. Cause with slabs for walls I'll have to get more creative with putting furniture up against the wall or stuff like paintings. Hmm...

Can't decide between the two window types here.

The door is made of inverted orange lights, because why not. I wanted something clearish but couldn't get over the sticky piston texture showing through as well.

Also messed around with the sculpting tool and made this creepy statue. Though this was all in single player so sadly he's not on the server.

Not sure if it can be coloured, I'm hoping it can cause if so this would be like a more advanced form of micro blocks.

As for lighting the whole thing, I'd probably put a wrath lamp or two in the ceiling. One in the center was enough to cover that entire room.

Oh and does anyone have any diamond shards or wrath igniters for trade?

What'd be the cheapest way to have a tree farm?

Probably slave labour.

Turtles and deployers maybe?
Turtle harvests, deployer plants. Then again an actual tree farm is way easier and efficient.

I figured that was the 'island' of a sort you were indicating Mel! I'm located a good distance east of that where all the pagoda buildings are!

n0t_u I prefer the windows with the dark bars going across them if that helps at all.

The actual cheapest way is to manually grow and harvest the trees yourself.

I have already had a conversation with you regarding this but alternatives that are automated include:

Steve's Carts tree farm (self sustaining for the most part, though requires topping up on coal fuel every few days real time)
Forestry Multiblock farm (runs on minimal buildcraft power and apatite)
Minefactory reloaded harvester/fertiliser/planter combination (runs on minimal buildcraft power, and can be configured to plant multiple tree species in a small area)

As n0t_u said, turtles with deployers would most likely be the easiest in terms of resource cost, but might be difficult to implement depending on your knowledge of lua.

I do tree blocks. You can plant oak saplings right next to each other, and they'll grown into a solid mass of wood, that can then be harvested pretty quickly with a simple axe. The Wand of Excavation can also be used to 'excavate' trees really quickly, too.

And what's this "Sculpting" tool you used there Not_u?

Part of factorisation I think. You make a sculpting tool and clay slabs to sculpt. The tool can move, resize and rotate the selected parts of the sculpture. Right clicking it with a piece of clay will add a new bit to it as well.

Here's a vid of it. From the wiki... Not very helpful like the wiki usually though...

Those are made by placing several sculptures together by the way.

Basically you can make these multiblock objects and they'll just take the space of one physical block where the base is. And wiki link since this thing's article is actually half decent. It's a very cheap thing to get into as well which is nice. To start you just need some clay, a stick and a wood slab. Actually thats all you ever need with it.

Edit: Also have a bunch of diamond drones for trade.

I'd be ALL IN if you could combine them into one big one that is saved as one block

can you easily duplicate them?

I don't think you can duplicate them and yes that's how they work. I've no idea what the limit is per sculpture, but they all take up the space of one block together. There's a limit to how far away from the main block they can go, but that seems like 1 block = a 3x3x3 space.

Made a new golem farm just for wheat. I'm thinking maybe instead of barrels I should just have them place what they pick up into chests then filter the excess seeds from the wheat and store all that in either barrels or start messing with AE.

Should be 0 trampling in this design.

Edit: Improved it, seeds are filtered.

Ah good. I can make excess seeds in to plantballs for use in making biomass if needed.

There were three stacks of them in your wheat farm, I took two to start this off. I think there was about 20 or so left. Oh and the good thing is there's 0 need to actually go into it since you can easily reach chests from the fence. It had a gate, but they can open it and run off somewhere.

Yes, I know my wheat farm produces too many seeds. I need to figure out a way to automate replacing some of the seeds (all that are necessary to replace) while putting the rest in my AE...

Maybe just stick a smart golem on it with the instruction to take out the seeds and put them somewhere?

The trampling for my other farm was them jumping up and off the barrels, before it probably just how they interact with the microblock floor it had. Still they're hardly as reliable as a good pipe system, just more compact.

They're Magic robots. Robot does, after all, simply mean "Servant".
