Okay, cool. Also apparently blood magic is now disabled?

I don't think it's disabled.

Xeriapt has a blood magic altar.

I think it's enabled by default in 1.1.2 instead of simply being optional.

Blood Magic is disabled by default in Monster (as it always has been - the "self harm" aspect of it is offensive/disturbing/troubling to some), but I have it enabled on the server (since the switch to Monster). The first post of this thread has instructions on enabling it.

I'm going to take the server down for a few minutes shortly to try rolling back the spawn chunks to a working version to see if that resolves the problem.

Should you find that aspect of blood magic disturbing, there is a config option which replaces the dagger you use on yourself with an orb of sacrifice. Seems like a bit of a copout to me, but i understand why people would do it. Props to WayOfTime for adding the option.

Wait... I thought the orb was the default? I suppose Direwolf plays with the more "Family Friendly" option.

From what I understand, the orb option was not added until after the mod was first included in the Monster pack.

The options are now there for those that want them.

FTBWiki.org wrote:The Sacrificial Orb is an alternate version of the Sacrificial Knife. It can be enabled by setting B:IDontLikeFun in the wimpysettings section of AWWayofTime.cfg to true.
When enabled the name and textures for the knife are swapped with those of the orb. In every other respect they are identical.
This variation was added for those who find the idea of self cutting too distasteful or unsettling.

I love that it's called IDontLikeFun in wimpysettings.

So ok... I keep getting a inventory glitch.

Items keep shifting and swapping on me. Atuff that I craft in the 2x2 grid dont stay crafted. For example, I make a stack of stone bricks. I place one and they turn back into stone.
I pick up an aqueous accumulator and put it on my hotbar, place it, the item I removed from my hotbar is once again there, and has been placed instead.

Ughhhhh... Its getting ridiculous. I had this same issue before where it wouldnt let me place the portal blocks I wanted to :/

EDIT: And now after a reboot, it seems to have gone away....

EDIT EDIT: And its back again. ughhhhh

Alright- so am I right in assuming that the "New" server/map is up, and here to stay for a while?

I've been looking around, and can't quite figure out what's going on about that- what precisely is the 'new' address, and where's the "Need these mods and this modpack" list at?

Yup. Modpack is Monster .12 (i think) Its the newest one a any rate. Only thing you need to enable is blood magic and whatever map you like.

Im still having the damned issue, and nothing I do seems to help it AT ALL. Works fine for a bit then BOOOM no control ofver inventory, no crafting in the 2x2, nothing.
Im gonna try a reinstall tomorrow... if that doesnt work, who knows....

Ok so i am able to log in again, turns out it is not a good idea to right click a strongbox owned by another person with a crescent hammer( i believe after testing that that is what crashed the server)
I'm curious as the strongboxes at spawn have changed where my ME drives are now located.

Try adjusting the inventory tweaks settings or keybindings? Or try turning off the features and re-enabling them one at a time to see if you can spot the cause, The little "..." button in the top right of any inventory should take you to the Inventory Tweaks options.

Unfortunately i tried all that last night. Seems nothing I do fixes it, from turning off the coin of fortune to removing my power armor, to emptying my inventory entirely.

I rearranged the strongboxes because having all your stuff across three strongboxes was still capable of creating a broken chunk. It's not right clicking a strongbox owned by another person that crashes the server, it's when a strongbox full of so many items is suddenly converted into a dropped item in the world, then the chunk becomes inaccessible. I've spread all your stuff across seven strongboxes now.

I had to remove all the Block Movers from your A.E. storage cells and store them separately because they're a very buggy method of moving/storing things. Many minecraft tile entities aren't designed to be moved and have various reasons why their inventories need to empty when broken. Jabba dollies only move certain whitelisted items for this reason. I would highly recommend avoiding storing ME drives full of storage cells inside a block mover which is then stored inside another storage cell inside a strongbox.

I've marked all the strongboxes private to me. I'll unlock them one at a time, as you transfer stuff to wherever you're going to stay, but you musn't combine the contents of the strongboxes into a single storage or it will likely make whatever chunk you do it in inaccessible to anyone. There's a reason ME Drives only have ten slots....

Ah, well ill be careful, the block movers are far too buggy, mainly due to there lack of limitations, however they were convenient at the time, and AE drives clearly don't play ball in large numbers

I clicked on an icon-less "another one bites the dust"-item in my AE crafting terminal and promptly crashed to desktop. Every time i try to log in now i get the same crash: "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 27
at ganymedes01.aobd.items.DustsItem.func_77617_a(DustsItem.java:74)".

Is there any way to fix it from my end?

Edit: Dark, would a player and chunk restore help?

Ok, you didn't break any chunks, just yourself, so I've rolled you back to the save just before you broke yourself. It was quite close though, so try logging in when you get a chance and if it still doesn't work, I'll go one further back.
