Today I built a new rig. I7 4790, 16GB RAM, and this badass ammo crate case

Now I can rock the shaders and texture packs with you gas (if your unfortunate inv bug gets fixed)

That's exactly what I had before, minus the GTX 660 video card I was already using, it's only an ASUS Z97 mobo, and a 2TB Sata drive, and an 850Watt PS $1200. No LEDs or watercooling or any of that hokum. It'll take another 16GB of ram if/when I'm ready.

An SSD will serve you way better then another 16 GB RAM. And is probably a cheaper first upgrade as well.

I've got a 16oGB laptop SSD I thought about using as a boot drive...

If it is SATA 3 then go for it. If its only a SATA 2 SSD then there wont be a massive difference over the hard drive you already have in their.

Uhh... I found a Hungry Node in the Automated Mining Age. I got near it and it started eating the grass around it.

I captured it, but people should be careful.

Also, Aluminum, Nickel, Dark Iron, Cobalt, and Ardite seem to be bugged when it comes to the SAG Mill. They apparently require 129600 MJ of power per smelt (Normally ores are 240-400 MJ). The machine jams up because that's more than the internal storage.

I'll take it. Seriously. Would be useful for a dump, and awesome as a centerpiece. You just have to make sure there's no blocks within its radius for it to devour.

Sorry, I was out. Server should be back up now.

Occasionally the server appears to hang with no error and no response to the scheduled reboots. With no crash log or error to go on there's not much I can do except force stop the server and start it again. As I said earlier, I have a script to do this that I used to have to use back when Vanilla Beta Minecraft had similar issues. I'll see if I can get it in place tomorrow.

I remember that. It also output to a little text file every 30sec or so stating that the sever was up and online.
