errrrr.... no easy way back Im afraid... Ive since removed the portal back into the deep dark there... The main portal was on the old network that gave inventory bugs to people so we decommissioned it

Oh! You found the stargate! Yeah, I was rather confused when I found that one as well.

Deep Dark portals are a 1:1 with the Overworld, and mine's at 0,0. However, the Overworld Deep Dark portal got turned into a Natural Gas Leak by some mod or another- so now the primary means of transport to and from my base is a link book on a lectern hidden behind the Overworld Nexus portal.

There is now a linkbook to the nexus in the brick house.


Eventually we gotta shift the deep dark portal book somewhere closer to Anvil xD

I helped Anvildude get a Deep Dark portal from the overworld at exactly 0,0 as what he wanted. It seems a Mariculture Natural Gas vent destroyed the portal block for some reason.

You can easily get another portal up if you head to 0,0 in the overworld. The Deep Dark coordinates correspond 1:1 with overworld coordinates.

Feel free to update the deep dark portal in the Nexus. I originally just linked it to Gaskan's entry point because that was there first. If he's moved now and people are getting stranded, it should be changed.

I got some crystals, I could look into making a proper portal and book receptacle if you'd like. Not entirely sure on the mechanics, though- is it just any Link book that'll work? Because I'd need the one from the original Deep Dark location to get to the Nexus, in that case, or a new one.

Slowly but surely I am turning my blight on the landscape into something. But its all by hand...ugh. Marbling up the walls to be a pretty white takes some time...

I'd highly recommend investing in a builder's wand (or try to find one in a dungeon chest like I did).

If you don't have the ability to create unstable ingots (I don't yet), someone may be able to trade with you.... just be careful with the ingots...

Um... I think I broke the map.

It's continuously re-loading every time it finishes rendering everything. and the Deep Dark is kinda boring to look at, since it's just a green x-ray of the top layer. Dang.

Ok, so the new server has been running for a good while, does anyone still have items on the old server they need to migrate?

I'd like to shut the old Monster server down for good by September 9th.

If people still haven't gotten around to moving items across, I'm ok to leave it running until then, but if everyone is completely finished with it and there's no point keeping it running, I could also shut it down early.

I know people have asked for a fun send off for the old server, so I would be willing to enable creative mode for a few days. (after disabling the Qcraft portal link of course ).

Automating Thaumcraft 4.1 proves to be quite a challenge. Mostly due to the way its pipe-system works. Nevertheless, I've managed to teach my AE system to autocraft everything involving the crucible using the following contraption:

For the time being I might settle with just automagic refills of my aspect jars though

The server crashed three times in the last half an hour while i was on. And at least once more yesterday evening.

Is it something i am doing? Right now i was removing a couple of peripheral proxies and got a client disconnect ("read time out") and subsequent no connection to the server. From the player list it seems it's crashed.

I've been restarting it when it crashes this evening, yeah. The crashes this evening are relating to openblocks/peripherals, so sounds like it is what you're doing.

I also notice error reports about open peripherals trying to interact with Rotarycraft items and failing - if you have any Open Peripherals stuff attempting to connect to rotarycraft blocks and they're not working, it might be worth removing them.

I'm around to keep restarting the server for another half hour or so if you want to sort it all out now.

The peripheral proxies are not pointing at their intended target yet as i just placed them on the ground to rotate afterwards. Some are pointing at stone blocks others at proxies. None of my RotaryCraft stuff is near them though. I'll check the rest of my base whether any computers are touching RoC blocks. Our version of ComputerCraft doesn't work with RoC anyway.

Edit: Sorry for keeping you busy. I tried to remove a proxy that was pointing at another proxy just now when the server crashed.

The first crash this evening was in this function:
openmods.block.RotationHelper.rotate

every crash after that has been in: openmods.block.OpenBlock.removeBlockByPlayer

I'm restarting the server again if/when you log in, say hi and don't remove any blocks immediately so we can tell if it's crashing on chunk load or not.

Sorry for my earlier mistakes leading to several crashes, especially when amberwolf was still online. Sorry amber, i hope you haven't lost anything due to that.
