No sedition wars doors. Will probably do something single with plasti/card, sprue, etc.

The trick to cutting them was to carefully follow the mold line on both ends with my hobby knife. Woulda been a nightmare without that as a guide.

May have to do some more... barracks, command center, one with bigger doors for garage, med tent or commissary. Of course give a mouse a cookie...I could end up with scenery for an army base board... just need some fence sections and I had an idea a out those recently. Do it right and the base board could work as generic field board for anything up to fantasy too.

I saw someone point out flipping the pipe 90 degrees and making storage tanks out of it. Not bad, nice addition/alternative to the coffee cans I've been using.

You could also cut some pink foam insulation to fit around the pipe to create the appearance of an entrance to a mountain base like stargate .

Add a couple of sheets of blue foam and I will darn near have a table.

That's a nice way to do the quonset huts. The scale is just right too.

And I'm reminded that I have a few on my Table of Shame that need finishing.

My favorite part is how big Ape X is, I thought he would be a tiny 'brain' style leader but he is definitely the biggest brute in charge


Not trying to 'finish' Imperial Assault so much as have a collection of all the 'good guys' for display and whatever else may come up. Didn't bother with the rebel soldiers or any of the other expansions, and leia/droids don't even go with the main set.


Pushing for completion on the USAriadna, plus Oznat to go with my hungries. The azra'il was better than half off and those minis are COOOOL.


Random stuff. 10 backpacks for various TNT conversions, maybe caravaners, the batman game thugs are roughly Infinity sized so should work as raiders or whatever for TNT, and the card sleeves were there to get me over the shipping threshold but I kinda needed some anyway.

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with Dust. I don't think it did as well as they wanted and somehow there is a lot. I got those gorillas for maybe 3something a box. I think the MSRP was more like 20-30.

Ehh PoGo is a cute game, it's fun when you're out and about but there isn't much you can do at home (gotta walk around, or be driven ). Even less plot than a regular pokemon game but it gets you walking around to interesting places and so on.

I think I saw that Dust had some KS issues/setbacks and distribution troubles that stopped it getting off the ground. Definitely some cool models, though, and I'm very much looking forward to more TNT stuff, having finally been bitten by the Fallout bug after dismissing it (and most post-apoc settings) for ages. Might have to try my hand at building a TNT warband or two for myself at some point soon.

I can sympathise Grim, I have allowed myself to slip on the discipline of not buying until I need. But have now got myself several armies in advance in boxes for my plans. I blame GW and there discontinuing of certain model lines for spooking me into action.

Theo-maybe if you're trying to get rid of them and we meet up some time. The gorillas aren't necessarily a first place project and it wouldn't be worth the cost to ship them.

I'd pick up the genestealer cultists but the ebay breakdown for deathwatch overkill is not nearly as cost friendly as some of the previous releases has been. Could get units of terminators and bikes for like 13 dollars... Half of the box for less than half of the price. Now they want MORE than half the price of the box for less than half of the contents. I'm guessing it's more limited or something. Ah well.

Yeah I think he's supposed to be raising it in the air, maybe shaking it at an escaping hero or making a threat. Gonna have to hot water treat him and hope the altered pose sticks because right now he's basically facepalming.

Gonna hVe to consider the gorillas for one of the warbands. Also really wanting to combine my corregidor and qapu khalqi dudes into some kind of mean space pirates or mercs. I want the alguaciles to have enclosed helmets and extra backpacks so they look like they're in light weight EVA suits for breaching ships...having trouble sourcing hats though. Those guys don't necessarily jive with the city motif so they aren't a priority just yet, just throwing stuff out there.

Got van zant, airborne ranger, and hard case primed and on painting stands. They're only 5-10 minutes behind the majority with nearly half having cleared step 2 green splotches.

I keep sitting down to paint when the baby naps but I eat up 75%+ of my 45-60 minutes catching up on Dakka lol...

Want to finish the faction with available minis slash things there aren't minis for. Err... I mean there's a profile or two with a figure that I don't have yet, and one or two profiles that don't yet have figures.

Of course I don't *have* to use any models I don't want to, its not as if I'll likely be playing at all let alone officially . Kinda like how I'm not in love with the dozers or 112. There's also no wardriver. I don't suspect they'll redo the faction+independent specialists so I may make my own unofficial guys for my own sake. Wardriver seems like one they probably won't bother with as its such good proxy material anyway. Kinda wonder about the blackjacks, I'm sure they'll get models though I'm also sure my azrail would make sold stand ins..

Half inclined to modify my 3 old ghulam to be the hacker, engineer, and doctor. They would look good in the camo scheme, look vaguely similar to the USARF style, and no longer fit with my vision of my QK. One looks like a solid snake homage, which job is he most suited to (sneaking around assassinating people isn't n the table lol).

There's a lone ranger too but I assume they'll make one soon, probably Chuck Norris or Rambo themed so I'll just wait.

I have a few alternatives within the infinity line too. A couple of the characters and mercs could do, especially for the hacker. But I do already have the ghulam...

Aaa'aand I just squandered another 30+ minutes reading... Sounds like there are profiles for USARF blackjack heavy rangers but at this point they still aren't even in the planning stage (dossier, artwork, whatever). So yep. Guess that's what my Azra'il will be now Lone Ranger is in the same boat.. gonna do some thinking

Really what I need to decide, since I have two Azra'il, is does my USARF team get both? The HMG profile is perfect as the Blackjacks have the same gun, but the T2 sniper profile is less so, as the fuerbach is basically more of an explosive rounds autocannon or something and not a sniper rifle.

I'm not sure, but you called them a stretch goal. The archers, I think - though there was a WIP shot without a "finished" one that I saw.

So I'm still kickin, just been slow around here.. Last four USARF guys primed today. The wardriver hacker, 112 emergency services (doctor), black jack heavy ranger and dozer engineer. All are actually haqqislam models but in the same color scheme they should do fine.
