Fulgrim is rumored to be the next Primarch to get a model.

The Abbaddon and Loken work-in-progress was in the previous WD, and appeared to be ~80% complete. I'd be shocked if they weren't released long before it, since it's not until May 18 & 19.

My thoughts exactly. IF you happen to live in the UK (or be able to get there, or be rich), and IF you happen to get a ticket, you too can get these rare exclusive items everyone would like to get.....

How is it different to any other convention out there?

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

Why? Because it's so pricey? It is boocoo bucks, but it does seem a lot like any other gaming convention, if very focused on one game! I'm happy to attend our local (Frisco) Kubla Con for $40 for the weekend. Admission doesn't include any exclusive minis for my favorite games, however...

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

It doesn't, but we're going to be seeing event only models from Forge World as usual. With the timeframe between now and the actual event, there's plenty of room for the models to be shown.

It should be noted that BL have said these stories will be made available at a later date, in a different format.

The rational thinker in me (who I keep locked up as much as possible) seems to think that "selling to everyone" might yield more profits than "selling to only a few".

Though that could be the crazy person in me pretending to be the rational thinker. He does that sometimes.

We believe there is a vast opportunity to add value to GW through the publishing, promotion and selling of Citadel publications in a variety of super-premium, collectable formats, at the highest possible prices, direct to the dedicated consumer.

Well you live in the USA which has loads of decent conventions to attend (not nessesarily GW centric ones),

where as in the UK they're pretty limited (and often a lot smaller)

so swings and roundabouts really
