From here out the 6mm versions will be metal only. It's currently at the caster and as soon as they are ready I should have them available through the KS.

all the model sculpts appear very stable which is good but also very static, is there going to be any leg variants to give the impression of a little more movement?

At this time there's no plans for alternate poses, I won't rule it out for future options though.
I've sent everything in to Kickstarter for approval, so it may be launching next week. I've decided to do a quick 15 day KS that will focus on the 15mm stuff. The primary goal is to get the Lynx Alpha and Gamma models funded. Funding will also let me have the weapons redone on the Raptor Beta and Gamma. The Osprey will be offered the first stretch goal, then the Blackfrost medium.
The 6mm lynx will be available as an add on and depending on how the project does on funding I can offer additional 6mm models.

I think focusing on the 15mm models for the campaign may be smart. Darn I'm getting a bit of a yo-yo effect on scale though now

Looks good but I'm not seeing gaping seams across all those front surfaces. I thought that was mandatory for 6mm mech models?

Everyone I spoke with at Adepticon was interested in the 15mm scale stuff, thought the 6mm was a nice option but when they were able to compare the models in person everyone was saying go with bigger scale as it's just more impressive especially when used with the DZC terrain.

I'm afraid I don't get the raging heroes reference.
I did edit it with a more updated pic since the original post on that one, so while it says it's 80% done in that post it's actually a bit more complete then what was originally posted.
Here's the finished verison

Raging Heroes mentionned in their Kickstarter campaign that there would be a fast turnaround on their production because the minis were 80% complete.
That 20% has so far taken them 9 months. And we are nowhere near seeing the bulk of the minis. Or any mini, for what it's worth. It's become it's own shamefully negative meme.

Ah gotcha, I hadn't really been following their progress. I've been watching Robotech was supposedly 90% done for 6-8 months, which it seemed more like 40% done in reality.
Both of the lynx variants are done so I won't be stuck at 80%. I'm working on getting the Osprey finished but that one likely won't be done until after the KS is completed. I put an August delivery on stuff but in reality it could be shipping as early as end of June. (though mid July is much more likely) Once I have the prints in hand I'm pretty quick with the molding and casting end and I built my date on my past delivery windows. (which is usually under two months from start to finish) So I don't expect things to be like other kickstarters where they are grabbing delivery times out of the air.
If it does well and we start unlocking all the medium mecha it may take an extra 2-3 months depending on what all need to be filled. If the heavies are funded then it'll another 4-5 months likely. If the entire line funds I'd estimate it as being a 8-12 month window and that's largely due to me needing the majority of that time to do the 3d work.
The advantage that being small has is that there's no chain of command that the models have to bounce around in, changes or reprints can be done pretty much immediately and don't need the approval of multiple people only to have somebody want to tweak x then have lag time while waiting on others partners to approve it, or needing any retooling or milling. Getting a new print made is a process of a few days vs weeks or months.
I have 3 of the 10 chassis designs completed, so I'm about 1/3rd the way done with the overall line. Those 10 chassis designs will have around a total of 40 stock model variants (11 of which I currently have done) Being that I'm just one person tackling pretty much every aspect of the line if I have the remainder of the work done within 8 months I'll be very satisfied. PB for example has 6 full time people plus another 6-8 people from ND and they outsouce all the manufacturing. CGL has 6 people as well to make battletech and IWM handles all the models. I'm likely doing the work of at least 6-8 people (if not more) which is why my progress inches along at times.

The lynx is a medium mech. Had a brain fart and forgot to list that on the add on banner, should have that fixed within a few minutes.

Backed, just for a mini-me for now, although I imagine the vast majority of people are going for 15mm (as they should, I think that will end up being the more popular scale ).

Question - if I back at a higher level can I opt for a bunch of the 6mm?
I've already backed at the $60 level, but I'm still not sure if I want to go with 28mm or 6mm...

No list of stretchgoals yet or am i just being blind? Also any chance of a secondary kickstarter at a future point to expand these into 6mm specifically? (as opposed to just a single 6mm lynx i mean)

You can add on any number of the 6mm guys to your order.
I may add a separate level option for the 6mm guys as unit of 4 would be about $40 instead.
I'll be offering other 6mm mechs as well.
First stretch goal will be the Osprey medium mech which is currently shown as locked, will add a stretch amount shortly as we're well on the way to basic funding.

Good luck! I'm in for what I can justify right now, but will keep tabs on the next two weeks. Between the games my group has abandoned, the new ones picked up, and the ones set to be delivered some day, I'm not sure I can justify going big... but it's not going to be easy to resist. You've got some awesome designs lined up.

I am curious how far you would like this project to go in fifteen days? Are you planning to stop at heavy mechs for NorAm and NeoBlock, and then try another campaign for Blackfrost and Quads, or will you fund those through traditional sales?

5 hours in and only $300 to go until it's funded?
Which raises the excellent question; how is this not funded yet!?
Let's do this thing!
