This list is correct.

Thanks

Also, might want to make it clearer on the main page that all the add-on prices are not on the main page, but in the pledge calculator link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ao3sUUJAALFodFE2WWpVWTJXQmd4endLSTFJMkpsUEE#gid=0

And at a 10% discount, meaning a display board added to another pledge is $54 instead of $60

Tom, you just made me realize something- since it dipped to 999 backers and just under 200K, then back up... it actually passed both goals simultaneously with one backer's input. Which is pretty darn cool

Okay, time for sleep here!

Immediately after that person posted asking for add-on prices, I pointed to the spot on the main page where the add-on info is

There's not a menu because I've made most of the SWM catalog available separately at 20% off -- in addition to the Kickstarter related add-on items. It would need pages and pages to itself.

Yeah I edited above when I saw that . But I think the Tablescapes tile sets at 10% off might deserve to be listed out, since it's only a few things! (Including the $54 display board I mentioned above)

But yeah, that complete list is Really long

Yup, I have a note here to add the KS add-on menu to the main page, with an update to link to showing just about everything....

I just need more hours in the day -- and that ain't gonna happen. Alas.

Hey Justin quick question. I'm pretty sure it's already been asked and answered but i can't rememeber where or what the answer was.

I'm in for a mini-wargamer and looking at getting the one of the urban boards. My question is can i get a mix of both damaged and clean tiles in my pledge, say 16 damaged and 8 clean? Or am i limited to one or the other?

I spent a bit of time today messing around in Excel doing street grid layouts, using a presumed purchase of 2x16 Tiles + 4 display tiles (which I presume are compatible with the standard tiles, yes?). The major hang-up is the 8 straight roads. In almost every instance I wished I had 9, but beyond that there are a lot of possibilities with the above set up.

It is getting more likely that I will pledge.

Yes, there is no difference between the tiles received in the display board and the regular 4'x4' tileset.

I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I think I have just one more.

If I'm pledging for two sets of 16 + display board of 4 (for the extra blank non-road urban tiles), that would be Wargamer Pledge Level + the $54 Display Board add-on for a total pledge amount of $304, yes?

I am not a fan of columns on the ruined temple, but at least keep the look neutral for all Elf, Eldar, Tau and Necron players.

Also: Seems there is no early bird option listed in the product table.

Its an excel sheet, its easy to modify one of the pledge level prices to whatever you have.

Has anyone thought about mixing the damaged city tiles with the scrap yard tiles to make a bombed out urban area? I'm trying to picture how that would look, but I'm just not sure if they would good together.

Maybe it would help if they showed some renders of some different sample configurations, including with mixed sets, to give people ideas.

I could see mixing the Streets, Scrapyard, and Fields sets to make a more diverse city complete with Junkyard and Park.

I would be interested in seeing some layout ideas you came up with. I think the kickstarter could really have benefited from showing some good examples of what you could do with the tiles, which they haven't done at all. But when you say you wish you had 9 straight tiles, wouldn't you have 10? If I'm not mistaken, the display board comes with two straight roads, and two foundation tiles. Or were you talking about the Deadzone board?

Yes, 2 Straight Roads in the Display board and 4 in the Full Tileset:

4 x Straight Road
2 x T Junction
2 x X Junction
6 x Foundation
2 x special feature

I'd like to see a mix of rolling fields or desert/beach and trench system. You could create a D-day style beach assault or something which i think would be excellent.

You will be able to get a mix - yes. No problems there.

@ HMBC -- after the campaign I will be making road and foundation tile expansion sets -- in the interim your pledge amount is correct. THANKS!

@ Kroothawk -- Cyporiean has the right of it, if you had an EB spot just modify your total. I didn't include them in the spreadsheet as they represent 200/1,000 backers and someone would mess it up

@ Albino Squirrel -- we haven't done mash-ups with the tiles, but each set has been previewed at 16, 24, and 32 tile layouts.

Update!

Secret Weapon wrote:By now you've probably seen the photos of the undamaged wall set for "Urban Streets" -- but here's a quick video preview of the set... CAST IN RESIN!

That's right, the first wall sections have been designed, printed, molded, and cast. I need to do some clean-up work on them but here they are!

I'm hoping to have concept art for the "Rolling Fields" walls in the next day or two -- keeping the size/shape of the other wall sets, but made from rough-hewn stone, as well as more of the scatter terrain for all of the unlocked sets!

Funding has been jumping and new backers are pouring in -- here's to unlocking the "Ruined Temple" Display Board... and then the full set!

Let’s make something very clear here – these layouts are nothing revolutionary, neither in their style or presentation. I’m not using some fancy 3D program to make nice isometric views or detailed layouts. I’m using Excel, and using the lines/boarders function to create basic shapes (cross sections, t-junctions, etc.). It’s about as primitive as you can get, but served a good purpose for just brainstorming what one can do with 2 sets of 16 (and an extra 4 foundation tiles).

Albino Squirrel wrote:
But when you say you wish you had 9 straight tiles, wouldn't you have 10?

Quite correct. To get the 9th you would end up with a 10th. My point was I found a lot of the layouts used all 8 of the straight roads very quickly, forcing me to use an ‘end’ that ends the road (assuming that there are dead ends in the final kit – I’m hoping for at least two) or to use a t-junction as a straight, and then attack an end to that.

 misterjustin wrote:

I do hope one of those expansions includes two 90 degree turns. So many of the layouts would be much better if I didn’t have to use T-junctions to put in corners.

Now I admit that I am kinda obsessive when it comes to making layouts in discrete units – I hate roads that don’t end properly, and just crash into a foundation tile. I do this for everything – I hate Space Hulk corridors that don’t have end caps, I play around with my D&D tiles endlessly to ensure that cave networks have no tunnels that go nowhere, and I am endlessly thankful that FFG’s DOOM tile sets come with tons and tons of little ‘end caps’. In all the layouts I made roads either came to an end point, or ran off the edge (which is why so many x-sections are in the corners). That’s just the way my brain works.

Having some corners would make life easier.

In any case, I’m in for 16x2 Urban Roads (1 clean, 1 destroyed) + 4 Foundation Tile display base.

I'm not speaking for SWM here, but I know that if it were my campaign, I'd have everything available in the pledge manager after the campaign closes since there is nothing Kickstarter can do about that. I of course would not be able to say that officially during a campaign.. I'd have to rely on people that are not speaking for me to relay that information.
