Right now, I'm living a less traditional adage of "If they get to the trench display set, can I resist just getting a buttload of those in place of one of my mini-wargamer sets?"

Ah i've already thought about that shade. I'm in for the mini-warger as well and for a comprable amount of tiles you're looking at $350 rather then $190.

I hadn't priced it out, since I doubt the KS getting to the trenches at all.

Still, the reply that comes to mind from your statement cannot be uttered without hitting a filter or getting me in trouble with the powers that be.

Mr Jusin is there any chance at all in the future of getting a trench board, whether it be by another KS or just by you releasing tiles over time, or is this our only chance to get some trench tiles?

He has plans for at least another 6 themes beyond Trenches and Desert, they'll just have to rely on post-kickstarter sales to fund them... so it will be some time.

Is there anything preventing him from running another KS 12 months down the track with a different selection of boards? Because i certainly wouldn't be against backing another one if it meant i could get a full trench board or maybe even a nice plastic lava board. (wink wink, nudge nudge)

Ah me and my badly phrased posts. My year 12 English teacher would slap me if saw how bad my phrasing is. I meant if you wanted 24 trench tiles (the same amount as in a mini-wargamer pledge) you would have to buy 6 trench display boards. This would come out at $350 as opposed to the $190 spent if purchasing a mini-wargaming bundle.

I actually can't afford it right now, so I'm in two minds about whether to go in for a display board and possibly jack it up to a full set of ruined/clean streets later via PM, or just leaving it be until retail. The allure of paying for something now for a slight discount on something I'll get a year (or more) later isn't as strong now that I'm paying for a mortgage as well as all the other crap I still want to buy. - particularly since similarly as with yourself, the Trench board was the one I was/am really interested in.

I assume he means a comparable amount of Games Workshop tiles.

I'm pretty sure he means buying multiple display boards of the trenches (if that gets unlocked) vs. buying the same # of tiles in a larger, cheaper pledge (i.e. if the FULL trench board had been unlocked).

They don;t have prices yet. So no options yet. That will be later

There will be both a KR and Battle foam option available after the KS ends they can't be added now as they don't have final prices and any funds raised by their inclusion wouldn't actually help fund the tiles so it would only give the total a false boost.

You'll get a survey/pledge manager after the KS you pick then they are hoping to have at least 2 tiles from each theme render by then to help your choice you will also be able to add funds at this stage but remember to access the pledge manager you must have picked a pledge level with a reward you can't access it if you pick no reward.

@ Azazel- this campaign falls into the category of "I want to see it happen, so I'm willing to pay now". That category is getting smaller and smaller for me

but this one fits the bill. I'm only in for a display board as ostensibly I did not have the funds for this, but I can chip in $50-$60.

I'm in the same boat as RiTides. I have slowed on my Kickstarter as pre-sale backing.

But, this project looked cool enough that i wanted to see it succeed.

I'm not building two 4 by 6 tables, but i felt it a worthy project.

So many updates, so little time....

Everyone is scrambling to get new renders and new artwork ready for the final campaign push -- and although I suspect he'll kill me when he sees that I shared this screen grab, I can't stop myself from sharing a WIP shot of the "Rolling Fields" creeks sent to me last nigh.

This is the initial rough shaping for 2/3 of the creek tiles (there will be 2 straight options now) so that I could give some input on the berm slopes. A lot of work has been done since this was shared with me, and you'll see more in the next update....

Updated "Ruined Temple" Artwork

We still haven't finalized everything, but now you can see the stone design we selected shared across all of the sketches. The four foundation tiles will each receive different treatment, and there will be more dirt on several of the other tiles, but this is what we're working with. "Trench Works" Display Board

As promised, now that I have the artwork for the "Trench Works" Display Board it is now an active stretch-goal. GO! GO! GO!
Into the final hours...

As I type this the timer says "26 hours" which means this is the final push to unlock the last of the full themes. We're so close to "Ruined Temple" now that the excitement is almost overwhelming! The concept artist is working on scatter terrain and wall sketches for you -- and I'll have those in the next update too.

I realize that I keep saying this, but since it's still true... thank you all for your incredible support, enthusiasm, and feedback. This has been an AMAZING ride and I'm glad to have such an incredible community to work with.

Temple terrain is now looking really nice indeed. The tiles being spread across the whole board is just what I wanted. Trench display board is rather good as well!
