Thanks ruglud, it is very satisfying to see the terrain developing. I have a lot of detail to go bad and do, but it is nice to have a table filling up again.

Thanks dr. H. Been watching the wave serpent progress , I'm just not eldar inclined enough to give opinions.
@vik, the school is one of the best in our state (think equivalent all of Germany in size). We don't liv in the school district, but since my wife teaches in it we are able to send them at no cost. The school constantly ranks in the top percentages for test scores, but has been honored or many activities including athletics, social activities, and sports. They also are very fiscally sound, spending less money per student than all other schools in Missouri. We've been very happy this year having moved the kids their from their old school. Honors grands all around and still reading above their grade levels. It's a half hour drive with no traffic for me to take and pick them up each day, but now that I'm a stay home dad it all has worked out.
Two different parts shows that its been repaired over the millennium. Or that the builders used whatever was available at the time. the second bridge is on of my walkways byway and just holdin place right now.

Maybe, when it comes time to stick it to a base, you could add the remnants of the previous walkway underneath as if it fell over and was replaced.

Not sure if you can claim to have stolen it technically but steal away anyway. I'm very good at generating ideas (good or bad) and if they're not used (or written down at least) then they are forgotten forever.

here in germany the whole private school thing hasn´t found much acceptance yet... but... we have a private school just around the corner... and we have chosen this for our kids... as the one school my felix should have attended is way too crappy...all around... so we now pay a fee... but he is doing fine... and that´s what is important... kids need to be at the right place!... being a cop...or a king... you leave your hat at work...but being mum or dad...you wear the hat of office every fething minute of the day...so your responibility never goes on holiday!
as for the bridge... understood^^

Vik, it's a public school. We poor people can't afford to send our kids to private schools. We just live in a different school district which is good, and better than where they were last year. Here you can send your kid to any public school you want, but if you do t live in the district you must pay the equivelant amount of taxes that people in that district pay on top of regular taxes. Since my wife is. Teacher in the district they go to we are exempt from it. The other thing that keeps people from doing it is you must arrange transportation to and from school yourself and they are not allowed to ride the buses to friends homes after school. That's why I drive them everyday and pick them up everyday. But it's all worth it for events like today's.

@dsteingass, amen to that. The school we were in had really poor teachers, the performances were sad, and the available activities were negligible. This school has about 1/4 of the students, 10 less in each classroom, and there's always something going on. Today's even was great.
@dangledorf2.0, hey man thanks for the visit. I see your location is Brentwood mo. That's a short drive from here, where do you game, I'm looking to find a comfortable local shop since I moved. Feel free to answer here or in a pm.
Some fun facts from today. The theme was based on the 1904 worlds fair that was here in saint Louis to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the Louisiana purchase in 1803. You'll notice that its actually the 101 anniversary because the government couldn't get everything together in time. Toasted ravioli were invented here, before that there was only boiled ravioli. Common names in 1904. John was #1, Dave was number 31, victor ( your real name wasn't in the top 200 for men, neither was skalk and I didn't see nathanie1) was number 98.
I'll post pictures later, there on my phone which was dead. Every child in the fourth grade was in semi-period clothing. We also did the Missouri waltz, which was really just the box waltz.

Actually vik, St. Louis is a great mix of old world cultures. Lots of French, German, and Italian. South of saint Louis is. Big German population where many families still use it, or at least the older half of the family. August was a pretty common name on the list, I think top 20.
People underestimate German influence in America. The First World War took so long for us to join because they couldn't decide which side to be on.
America only speaks English because of the difference of ONE vote. During the rise of hitler there was a large national socialist push in the u.s.

I used to go to the Miniature Market on Watson. Place was awesome (-20% off of GW product helped a quite bit) and they had great tables and everyone was always real nice, but they had to switch locations or something along those lines. That being said, the last store I was in was a GW in Chesterfield for their opening day. The people that worked there were cool but I haven't stepped into the store since because of GW's weird ass store hours. I think that store only supports 40k and Fantasy Battle also, and my friends and I just started Necromunda so we're reluctant to bring our gangs out of the basement. (Sorry if this wasn't much help )

If you didn't know the place where miniature market was is now "game nite", they had been in south county mall, but took over miniature markets location. They are all right, but not real outgoing. I mentioned I just moved up here and was looking at getting back into the game scene, but kinda got blown off as just another guy wanting to play. Miniature market moved to Maryland heights and their store is a dump. No gaming tables bless they were in the back, just got he impression that the store front was just a "front" so they can be a block a mortar store. All they had out o buy was outdated stuff and clearance gak. All the GW stuff was in h back, and I had to tell them what I wanted and hey would get it after I bought it, no looksies. I haven't tried ogre games, it's probably between where we live, drove by it once, and he website doesn't really show much.
Okay now for an update. Vik challenged my saying I have 5-600 marines. I posted pics over in his thread, but to stop the hijacking I will post other pictures here. Back a Few pages were pictures of the motor pool. Well here's some other photos, please realize all my metal marines are not counted as they are in deep storage.
OVer in Viks I said I had 7dreads of which 3 forgeworld. Well turns out I have 7 dreads and 4 forgeworld dreads, this I just loyalist marines, have a few chaos forgeworld ones also. One of the regulars is in another picture found him after I put these away.
Here's a fast layout of half the first company, 50 terminator legs on bases, all the heads, arms, torsos and stuff are orated in bits bags. The bolter terminators and hammernators are still AWOL, but probably hiding in the space hulk box, I believe it's 104 terminators all together.
Also in the picture is the second company hitch are all decked out in mark IV armour. I ordered the red scorpion sets when they first came out.
The next few are just dome of my favorite characters from the army. The chaplain in this picture has twin iron halo knuckledusters don't miss a sermon or he'll serve you up something special. The techmarines have conversion beamers, one is n old space crusade, the other is plastic rod.
Some other characters including my version of calagar. The guy with the mk IV jump pack is missing the space old terminator axe, he's in mid lumberjack swing.
You might notice none of my guys goes around without their helmets, this is because they aren't stupid. The emperor put time and money into growing these guys, why would he let them get shot in the head without protection. That and I'm terrible at painting flesh.
These guys are getting reboxed and sorted, no getting back into them with necromunda needing attention.

Nope the gal watching the desk was to busy playing video games or something. The guys answering calls were too busy and I guess the guy pulling stock from the back really needed that cigarette an Mountain Dew.
Like I said that's not even counting the metal guys.
All my scouts have scout legs and arms, but the torsos are from the ravenwing box set, robed with the winged swords. I need to check out companies for good heads for the scouts, I HATE the scout heads, and they need to have helmets.
All the mark IV armor guys also have dragonforge bases from the desert range, so o the forgeworld dreads, or at least a few of them. My bike squads need new bases as I ordered them before dragonforge changed to the slimmer style.
Yes, I need professional help. Admitting the addiction is the first step they say.

Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened. (Read it somewhere )
Here's some scout pictures, like everything else the concept change is basic, I want my boys to have backpacks, not goofy suits. Had to make a green stuff ball to mount the torsos to the legs as the scout legs have a flat connection and the torsos are concave. I think it works out okay th excess green stuff looks like a fold of fabric under the rope belt.
Some more completed, have to redo the shoulder/arm on the sniper. Probably not a great idea to lean on a missile pod to set up a shot.
And since vik loves some dreads, here's close ups of the FW ones. Still looking for their arms, they might be with more dreads somewhere .
Ultramarine dread with you shaved off, added the scorpion brass etch to the chest back when I was going to do a scorpion knock off army. Other one is just the venerable from forgeworld. I like the look of the contemptor now, but the walking washing machine still takes first place.
And the red scorpion dread.
Automatically Appended Next Post: So decided to work on the bridge and abutment. Got two of these fan covers? For lack of a better description from dsteingass and had a couple ideas simmering. This one was the first that came to mind.
Seems basic enough, but I should have. Frame mounting it to the wall.
And the frame needs to be out from the wall a part of a tunnel so
Get to try out the mini diaper clips I got Monday.
You get like 20 of them for $1.50 in the Walmart craft section. You might need them for things....
But what would mak this better? How bout a working hinge? Still working on that, I don't have any glue that holds both aluminum or and plastic
If anyone has suggestions let me know, gorilla glue,e6000, and plastic glue have failed me.
