Little work on the truck. Saw a lot of different inspiration pieces taking the kids to school yesterday and doing my supply runs, but none really struck me. So I went with plan G. The imperial tow service gets very little attention I game, so I think it's time they do.

Front wheels look better there, but can I suggest a mud-guard as you wouldn't want the tools getting covered in muck before you get to use them.

Different view of Mega-City1, and maybe that was the southern sector? a rare break in the clouds? lower budget meant using a real life urbanized area with some odd CGI buildings added in? not sure. the Comics never hinted at so closed in a feel as this was a sprawl hive city 40k wise, the Stallone version was also supposed to show sprawl, but the buildings were closer together. But the comics did have wide areas and aircraft too!

I'm sure the sprawl would be limited in a confined area, Like Toronto or NYC, they eventually all go up and down.

I haven't used the third hand yet. I've been working with big pieces last night, and watching tv, moving furniture today. Tonight my oldest has a violin concert, so it will be morning before any fiddly (see what I did there ) bits get worked on. So far skyfall is an excellent movie, but needs more fight scenes.

So, how is the new furniture?

i always get a bit edgy with new furniture... it takes quite a bit to get used to is...

i am eager to see some fiddly work then done by you the third hand never was something that worked for me...

I found Barbie and the pink shoes to be just another Barbie clone movie like the last four/ five, this is I think the third version of swan lake they have done.

On a nonbarbie note, saw this on the road today, and said, you just don't see good it's like that every day. Almost makes me want o do imperial fist.

So sitting at my oldest daughters violin concert reminds me how much I hated playing violin as a child. My brother got all the musical talent, me I can't even clap to a beat. But luckily the concert is for all the string orchestra in the district, and it's at my wife's high school. The looks of the school just hit me being a great necromunda terrain piece. Will take some pics and post when I get home phones almost dead. Wife texted me that now my son has the same symptoms as his twin sister and her fever still hasn't broken so ill have both of them home with me tomorrow.

Uh oh, poor sick kiddos. You can get it too, be careful, wash hands often!

Had my tonsils out they say you can't get strep after that, but I've gotten it every year from them. Pink eye I avoid like the plague. My daughter must be lysoled every ten minutes around me. She does a good job washing, but we had that trivia night on Friday and they were around a lot of new people. I think she also helped out in the nursery, so she might have gotten it from one of the babies.

My phone battery is dead so my photos from my wife's school will have to wait till morning. All I can say is the mascot is a tiger.

On the bright side I can't take the little sickos around great grandma and great grandpa, so no basement work tomorrow.

Oh and realized my iPhone and iPad were linked so I can show some of the pictures from my wife's school. Her schools teams are the Tigers. And the school just got this bronze statue this year, it's in the center of the cafeteria.

Unfortunately it wasn't in place for even an hour before a new tradition came to pass....seems the tiger is anatomically correct and the students have begun to rub HIM for good luck the patina is showing a lot more in person than on the picture.

The school has placed concrete barriers around the statue to try and keep graffiti and other things from happening, but not working too well. My wife is so proud

That's not the terrain project though. Thank goodness. The cafeteria is a nifty area. The school is I think 60+ years old, but the cafeteria section is in great shape. It's in the center of the school, and is three stories tall in the center, with staircases on either side. The classrooms and library look down into the cafeteria, but are glass block windows. And all the heating ducts are out in the open, but painted to blend in. Also roof supports are spread out, but show nice girders. Very nice overall industrial feel in my opinion.

This might become a future terrain project, and the size of it made me think of the peach tree in Dredd. The gymnasium that the concert was in also would be a cool setup. I might try and do a school themed necromunda table. Have juves fighting a turf war in the school. Have heat packing teachers, and innocent bystanders.

Absolutely excellent terrain inspiration, Very 40k, with the raised Overseers office and all. I can see the HO train bridge parts right away!
