that bin looks very good... i have one of these under my desk for the stuff i have absolutly no use anymore...it does happen^^

the wire looks nice...tho the thorns are a bit big for my taste... tho...if you use it on a big wall as an extra cruel means of defense... this might work...

and the dumpster again shows your genius...

the mesh as such has a very nice shape... i bet there is plenty of good use... i see basketball playgorund fences or such things with this...

@vik, I got the mesh a while back to make fencing from, looks like Dave may have used it on his landspeeder, the only problem I have is it doesn't glue very well. The black guard stuff is a little oversized for razor wire, but I believe that it can still look the part of hazardous ground. Also the mesh is just so nice looking , it looks circular, but is actually more hexagonal up close. It might make a nicer barrier wall.

I didn't like the trash dumpster as much this morning as yesterday, but saw what was bothering me about it.

I replaced the gw part with scratch built, now I'm more happy.

Off to take my boy to basketball practice and to Walmart, I'll see if I find anything interesting, I'll have my daughters with me, so no serious scavenging possible.

yes... even better looking...will you add some rivets?

oh...and maybe you could sprinkly PVA and static grass on the wire... that could make some mean looking thornbushes or something^^

I have some rivets on order, unfortunately they are coming on a slow boat from china literally. They are the same microbeads used by machinator, hopefully I can do half as good of a job as he does with his rivets on his tanks. I'm sure I could have gotten them locally, but I must help support our new overlords like a good toadie.

what did I just watch...

no idea whatsoever, I found it over in the news and rumors space marine codex thread. it reminded me of so many D&D games as a kid when a new Dungeon master started in the group and enforced encumberance. We had what could only be called a sniper elf who carried 200+ arrows so he couldn't run out. After this Dungeon mater got done with the character he had to hire henchmen just to tote the arrows for him . This is how I would have to dress in a zombie game, just to make sure I don't run out of ammo. Of course once you got all that ammo on, you'd have to use the bathroom, I guess that's what the tactical toilet paper roll is for.

Oddly enough on my run out yesterday I stopped at an army surplus store and was looking at the molley rigs and 50cal ammo boxes.

er....yes....he can barley stand with out any bullets in his clips... now imagine a crapload of bullets there... ...

best thing was the perfect hair shot tho of shade...

and a former good friend of mine was a game master in our game... we had that player... he had gear out of this world... magically augmented to no end... and dual swords, bow, crossbow, shield, double handed sword and an axe... maybe i forgott something... well the player was forced to swim in a lake... fully kitted.... it took like 5 times a roll of dices to make him understand that he either drowns or has to leave the gear in the lake... he survived... poor fella^^

Should've made him walk really slow like in Fallout

Wen to breakfast with the family then stopped by hobby lobby. They are clear ancient out a lot of model kits along with good supplies, so...supply drop.

The sheets are two packs of g scale diamond plate and two packs of brickwork. Each has two pieces in them for $4.19 (40% off) the sheets are 7.5" x 12" each.

Wait are those googlie eyes? Why yes, yes they are. Unfortunately they were just too big for what I wanted. You see I wanted them to fi inside the goggles, not on top. Well I'll have to make do.

Forgot to bring Dave in last night before bedtime, I guess the metal cooled differently than the plastic and his goggle strap popped off. He's been reglued since the pic.

Hmmm..My Hobby Lobby doesn't carry that textured sheet..looks like good stuff!

It's an off brand, jtt I believe. really thin, forgot to look at the gauge, but light shines through rather easy. Or the price I couldn't pass them up. I might make another trip later as hey has some other textures as well, including a moonscape with craters. Didn't want to go crazy with the kids around.

I've been putzing around all last night and his morning with not a lot to show for it. So back to necromunda build. Since I was listening to deep space nine in the background it got me thinking of Jeffries tubes and conduits, and some pieces from that grav tank I was fiddling with just happened to catch my eye. So chop, chop, glue glue oh what a relief it is.

Blank wall section that's same size as a bulkhead......I've got plans for it.

The hatch, pipe and light are just resting on there or are poster tacked for now.

Hatch open. Next time I might make he hinge actually work, right now it's poster tacked.

Obviously still needs work, but until I can mass produce the blank walls, nothing will get permanently affixed. The lamp light is from the bike fairings off the old ravenwing set. I have lots of them from my bit selling days and they are cheap on eBay.

Thanks Dave. The slots at top and bottom are the right size to fit the cardboard pieces. It's interchangeable with the regular Munda bulkheads.

Also forgot to show the other war happening in my hive. Let the protein wars commence.

Thinking of making 1'sq. terrain boards for each restaurant including drive thru areas. They can be set up next to each other with barricades between them, or on different sections of the board just for giggles. Or do you think it should be set up like a food court in the mall?

I cut 1/4" hardboard into 1x1' and 6x6" squares for that very purpose

Seems everything with the inquisition got straightened out at the grub hub. The citizen realized he DOES want an emperors combo WITH ice.

Just so you know, so you don't get lobotomized for taking he emperors name in vane, the combo includes a Big E protein stick and a nuka cola. Make sure you place your Big E wrapper in the proper receptacle or else .

Here's some of the modular parts for the grub hub/ trash hut/ brick house. Funny they all smell the same. Includes fourth wall, half wall/ counter, and operating door taken from the dust tactics Quonset hut.

Unhappy customer waiting behind the grub hub to get payback against the servo skulls that caused him to get searched by the probing mechandrites of the inquisition.

the new bulkhead idea looks promising...but lacks some more detail... and honestly... if you think about a working hatch and angle... do it... there is no better way around it than in actually doing it...i hint that towards my wife when she is making new clothes for her every time... if something is not like you wanted it in the first place... redo!...until you are fully satisfied...the nagging feeling you shoulda/coulda have done it better when you only do it soso... it ruins the fun and fame you get when doing a job for yourself you know coud have been different...

in no way was the thermic issue to infer that Dave might be a hot head. He always seems level headed when posting around here.

I have an idea for the hatch to make it functional. But too many other ideas were happening at the time. I really need to write my stuff down in a notebook for later reference, so I can come back to it. I've tried that idea before, but then it just doesn't seem cool enough later.

Yes it is pretty slick, is that a problem? Are there issues I should know that I'm oblivious to?

Nope, it's just something I noticed about it too. No problems from the stuff I've used, just shiny and slick.

and i know what you mean... sometimes even typing stuff here is so slow compared to my thoughts... and making sketches and all that takes up time too... i tend to forget my ideas in searching for pen and paper so i just cut and glue all of the time...^^only when i start a new tank... or something like that i start sketching... but then even with a ruler at hand...

The new avatar will be the closed grub hut with the back in 5 sign. Will have o wait till I get back home. Out having fun with the kids.
