Picked up some supplies today including one of Dave's paint racks which I found at Walmart finally.
Also had to get my flu shot today. Lets see how that works out.

Not me, I'm a scrounger. One of the things ive seen in the grandparents basement cleanout is some old make up racks that are identical to the bamboo racks from walmart, only larger and white plastic. If Nanny ever gets up and about again and can make it downstairs to let me know what I can pitch and what needs to be kept of hers, then that's the first thing I'm asking for. Would it be wrong to ask if I can have them when they kick the bucket?

steins workplace is so player. mine is so sad now in brooklyn. But then again im the type of painter that spill paint all the time because i paint swarmed with a hundred open pots of paint...placed wherever i drop em on the table lol.

I took me about 10 years to build my workplace

Dave has come a loooong way in man cave ownership and maintenance

It started in a small, cold corner of a garage, then I got a basement, then a 1st floor bedroom with windows, now It lives in this Garage/den with heat and a/c
It's still mobile, I can pack it up and move it. I haven't graduated to permanent fixtures yet The Workbench sits on two rolling filing cabinets, but I have screwed a big shelf to the wall above.

I've got most of the basement, But I'm considering changing things around again. My workspace doesn't need to be on the carpeted part, and just got given a 4' wide 4' tall Gondola/losier rack from my father in law who got it from Home depot. It has pegboard back to it and I have 7 shelves for it. Currently it's in the garage, but it might come downstairs this winter. I've got lots to get cleared out in the basement and the upside down bedframe/table will probably come apart and I need to build my own table to design, I think I'm going 4'x4' with it for necromunda, might make it 6'x4'.

And all I've got is a very cluttered desk in a cluttered bedroom...
But if a had more space I would only fill it, I have proven this in the past...

Well, everyone's tucked in, so here's my supply drop from today.

I had a coupon that was expiring today for my hobby shop, so had to use it .

Plastic pipe, sq. stock, and tile sheet (just smaller than the old stuff I used )also a new brush, nothing fancy
And while at Walmart.

Got one of Dave's paint racks to test it out.

Not sure how many more I'll need to clean these up

Off to watch another episode of fringe, test out the new brush, and see what inspires me.

oh dear thats a very unorganized paint bucket...well good luck with the inspiration man...fringe is good for inspiring the wierd..that means yous hould do some chaos goodness lol

I should have my face laser-etched into those and sell them to Hobbyists for $30 ea

Well, got inspired to start on a terminator.

The yellow is done, that's about it though, helmets mostly done except the eagle on the forehead.

While strolling through other blogs earlier I had a crazy idea pop into my head.......Muppet Marines . One of the guys is making BFG (battle fleet gothic) ships, and the ram reminded me of Sam the eagle.

I might make one or two for fun, like my legion of undead superheroes.

Sam is destined to be a marine...he has that constant constipated look on him...that or a commissary...

Yeah, I know his party "handlers" pulled all the strings. But he really believed in his Moral fiber, hated rock & roll, gays, etc. A lot of Sam's lines were puns on his taped conversations.

Can't find my liquid green stuff right now to cover the scorpion on the terminators chest, but otherwise mostly completed.

Made the scythe from two undead spears and a sword. He still needs shoulder pads as well. The shield on his crotch could use some decoration also.

I like it myself, which is good, but I think it needs a power cord or something.

I dunno about power cords, it has a long enough handle that could easily conceal a power source.
