Okay I way staying with black because of the imperial colors, but as for the panels how about I build some that are in the process of folding/unfurling? I could use the tabs on the sides as the base for the runners.

Not just medical junk this time.

More medical stuff as well as chain sent over by Cam , this does not mean that I am in on the competition , just that their might be some progress on my leviathan habitat .

Also got the medical stuff tonight too including 16 more sections of tubing in the 7" candy cane shape. Why does the monty python skit of the twine come to my mind when I say it like that . I also rescued four brackets that each hold four 1" diameter pipe. Not sure what it was for to begin with, but I have some terrain ideas in mind with it. Can anyone say full table pipeline? blocks line of sight, but might be an objective to take, or just there as impassible terrain.

@comrade, yes, it's starting to get lots of ideas in my head for an industrial/ necromunda type board.
@dave, yes, exactly what draws my eye to things is their uniqueness and what I can repurpose them for.

I was thinking of using the brackets on top of something to make an elevated pipeline , just like some spots on the Alaska pipeline where they elevate it to allow Mooses to go under. Also cooling/heating towers and such. I think boards need more elevation now with the number of flyers running(????) around the table.

I just realized how tiny the star wars stuff is compared to the GW models...I made a mistake and got me a mini from the game tannhäuser ...weedy and rather too slim for my own needs....

the satellite looks very good... I know why you went for the tie fighter look...the imperium has a thing for that scheme...they even made a tie fighter look alike tank...

I got my son the Lego tie tank a few years ago, might have gotten two sets, can't remember, the price was great and I'm a nut for Lego tank treads .

Another night at work and another casualty . Another long time employee was fired last night. That like six in the last two weeks. They all had it coming, either insubordination, time theft, or damaging company property those are all great topics for the next job interview.

Me on the other hand, I had a Decent night. Why? Because I got more foam(almost enough to pad he walls with ), stopped at lowes and got more PVC pipe and fittings for my other ideas, and had Chinese food fo lunch . Aside from these new shoes killing my feet it was a pretty awesome day.

Going to read a bit then , night everyone.

The way things are going I would go easy on the perks picking... your employer seems to test his prowess in hire/fire methods...regardless of these types of colleagues that had it coming.

@Dave, He was already in deep trouble, so he did it to try and make it look like someone else was doing bad stuff and take the focus off himself.
@vik, he doesn't care bout that, less stuff in the trash, less trash hauling fee. The fix on the shoes is getting a different pair and a couple days off my feet.

Hopefully I'll get something done on my terrain today, but going back to keep as soon as the kindern are on the bus. I've been burning the candle at both ends, and its caught up to me now .

I highly recommend "SAS brand" shoes for a "semi formal" looking footwear that will feel good. "New balance" is a reliable brand for standard tennis type shoes, and Original SWAT for Boot type footwear.

@galorn, thanks, I usually wear new balance shoes, but tried a different brand for work shoes as these are nonmarking and slip resistant as well as less expensive. Never again I've got such a blister on one foot that I can't sleep as that toe just shoots pain all the way up my leg when I turn over

Well since I couldn't sleep I thought I'd do a quick mock up of the pipe plans I'm thinking of doing.


Obviously I will be larger, and the sides of the clips have flat edges so I'm thinking of lifting them up 3-6" off the ground for elevation and such. I would kill for these clips in a much smaller size.

In the mean time there's some habitat work needing to be done. mind you it's not like there's a deadline since I'M NOT IN THE COMPETITION (officially anyways ) seeing if that helps me not get all worked up and nothing happen .

The air duct is a short length of dishwasher drain hose with two of the speakers from GW terrain kits attached. The other pipe section is supposed to be a fire sprinkler system, or a standard sprinkler for the leviathan to play in and get washed down after rough housing outside with the other giants . I just need to find the right watch bit to look like a nozzle. More decorations to be added on the walls. I'm thinking of a company banner or other goodies on one side of the sprinkler supply tube. Still need to make my ceiling hoist since Cam. sent me some jewelers chain. Also just loose fit the chain on the door in the scale shot for a manual system of open and closing.

Air duct and robot shower look great.

I like all the shadows criss-crossing it. That's a good look.

You'll want a drain in the floor under the shower so it doesn't flood the workshop.

Maybe you could add rings to some of the tiles there to make it look like they are removable, but are covering the drain.
