Just wondering what do they do to those guys, or are the dark elder really the ones being tortured because they've found humans that enjoy the pain?

Like the great storm of the Horus Heresy, the forces of the True Gods will descend upon the Emperor's minions. The stars will tremble at their passage and the mighty armadas of the Warmaster Abaddon will bring annihilation to a hundred worlds. Know this, for these things will come to pass.

Masochist to sadist - hurt me hurt me please Gods hurt me NOW!

Sadist to masochist - no.

DE don't care whether you enjoy it so long as you suffer, and can doubtless find some way to make anything, no matter how perverted, suffer .

I imagine torture to a Noise Marine would be isolation and deprivation. Deny him the ability to experience anything with his senses and he'd likely go mad in short order. It may even cause physical pain if he's not experiencing sensation.

A lot of sources point out that for many CSM the act of not being surrounded by the carnage of war is mundane to an almost agonising level, Slaanesh followers experience highs and lows to a greater degree.

I doubt it would be wise to keep a follower of Slaanesh so close to your Kabal, lest your provoke or unleash some kind of daemonic incursion.

Yeah, the DE would probably just give them a drug to feel more conscious of what's going on, then put them in a bare cell with nothing to do, probably padded walls as well.

Or alternatively they would probably enjoy torturing them, especially if they're one of slaanesh's followers. Or as a third option, put them in a gladiatorial arena and watch them torture others. After all, they'll have had practice!

Yeah I always thought that they were hiding in the Webway to get away from Slannesh, they either would really hate to bring them back for the above reason, or take extra delight in torturing a servant of She Who Thirsts.

The dark eldar love to torture people, sure, but they are not stupid, and would not lead those in league with slaanesh, their greatest enemy, into their one safe haven, commaragh. They would likely simply kill them.

^This.
Dark Eldar haven't even psykers 'cause using psy powers can:
1) generate a fuckhuge explosion that can destroy Comorragh;
2) attract Chaos, and with Chaos comes Slaanesh (with the other 3 Gods).

So I higly doubt that they would take any form of life who is corrupted by Slaanesh in their home.

Dark Eldar usually enjoy capturing Astartes because there hard to come by and can withstand lots of torture before breaking.

In the Word Bearers books a Word bearers Dark apostle is captured by the Dark Eldar and brought aboard one of there ships.

He is chained down and the Dark eldar Homoeccales (how ever you spell it lol) removes his armor and tries to torture him, The Word bearer then turns off his Primary Biological Heart so he appears dead to the Dark eldars scanners. Enraged the dark eldar then tries to bring him back to life with injections and lets his neck get a little too close to the word bearers mouth . Word bearer then wakes back up and rips out the eldars throat and releases himself, Then proceeds to kill a dozen dark eldar but is trapped on the ship and whilst roaming the corridors of the ship a human slave begs to be released from his cell and in return will lead the word bearer to his small ship that is in the dark eldar ships hanger (the guy was a gangster bringing captives to the dark eldar and they decided to take him too) when they get to the hanger they are surrounded by dark eldar, the apostle then summons loads of Slaneeshi deamonettes and they slaughter the dark eldar and give the Apostle and the human time to escape, The apostle then gives the human directions to get to the Word bearers battlebarge and when they arrive the human attempts to return to his ship and leave but the apostle just orders him to be put to work with the rest of the slaves lol

The fifth Chaos God, the Renegade god Malal used to absolutely torture other daemons. He would take Bloodthirsters and make them unable to kill or see blood flowing, he'd put Keepers of Secrets in boxes with no way to feel any sensory input, etc.

THAT's how you torture them. By not doing anything at all.

They may disregard high-level Slaaneshi followers as it is (and simply kill them). I'm not sure, but I imagine consuming the soul of a Champion of Slaanesh would not have the best effects on a Eldar.

I imagine they'd treat Space Marines as prized commodities that they can keep on torturing over long periods of time, contrary to the normal wimpy slaves that die after being skinned once.

If Baron Sathonyx was banished for bringing a Farseer back to Commorragh, bringing someone with Slaanesh taint back will probably result in your entire kabal exterminated.

Took the example I was going to use.

Suffering comes in more forms than slicing flesh with a blade and breaking bones. Many Slaanesh marines are vain to an extreme, so altering their features into a form they find beneath them might be a form of torture. In either case, Dark Eldar don't only abduct other races for sadism and humiliation. A Slaaneshi swordsman would be entertaining in the arena, and a haemonculus may enjoy studying one's physiology.

this topic is such a brain twister. lol. you'd think they would enjoy it greatly.. but at the same time be too terrified of them to think of studying them. Very good question. lol (Yes there was absolutely NO help in this post.. and I'm ok with that)

Those words mean the same thing, only the connotation/context is different... kind of like worshipping Chaos. One man's hell is another's heaven.

Slaaneshi worshippers are amongst the few living things on the Galaxy the Dark Eldar would kill on the spot, I think. Slaanesh' got their souls already, so there's no point in offering their pain in tribute. Also, "Dark" or not, they're Eldar. They may dabble dangerously close to it, but still they hate the thing that destroyed their race with a passion.

I think Slaanesh's whole deal is that it's both.

Anyway yes, sensory deprivation works as torture on an ordinary man, it's almost certainly a Slaanesh cultist's worst nightmare. The likelyhood of any ...sane? no, sensible... dark eldar bringing anything with the taint of Slaanesh into their hidey-holes in the webway seems pretty slim, despite the possibilities. Astartes marked by Slaanesh would be great in the gladitorial arenas, but I doubt many wych cults would consider it worth the risk.

My impression is that dark eldar avoid Slaanesh as much as possible.

Yes.

In the same book, however, they put on this device at the base of Marduk's neck to prevent his communion with the Warp or even drawing from his "warp" powers.

So yeah.

A nulling device shall be put on said Marine to null his warp sense out.

I'm not sure if joining a slaanishi cult would be like going to a rave or joining the manson family

Basically what happens to any slave that is strong enough to fight, is they are brutally and ritually killed by Wyches in arenas, in front of an audience of millions.. Space Marines have a high pain tolerance, so I doubt they'd be tortured anyway, and, as far as I know, just keeping a Slaaneshi CSM devoid of physical or psychological stimulus is a torture in itself..
