Figured it was time for a non-40K high future tech RP. Idea comes from another website, but'll prove to be fun. As you can take anything from other fiction, non canon stuff may happen, as, for instance, your 40K Imperium of Man can not be the entire Galaxy.

For years, the galaxy has been quiet, and civilisations rose to power. Now that the universe is getting more and more, races meet eachother, and alliances are formed. On the other side, wars are starting and countless of people die by droves. Several factions try to form Unions, while others try to just simply whatever they can. You are the leader of your race, you control everything that happens inside your nation, lead your people through these difficult times.



Rules:
1.No godmoding.
2.No steamrolling other races.
3. No overpowered unions like the Covenant from Halo (you will have to choose one of the factions within the Covenant)
4. No mega-destroyers like the Reapers from Mass Effect.
5. Your race may only start with 1 star system, if you want an empire you will have to make it.
6. No oneliners, exception for conversations. Try to use your best grammar!
7. Do notice random events

Strengths: Natural bred Affinity to technology, Terraforming, Gene coding(yes breeding new races) Advanced technology (fleet development, medicine, linguistics, and mainly weapons development) but

& Starbane Cannons: A star bane cannon is a massive warship that dwarfs a battlship by nearly 3 times the size. Its main and only weapoon is, as the name reflects, a Starbane cannon, which creates a black hole in a star and sucks the energy into the Coil which fires the lance, this weapon has the atmoic force of a supernova. (Obliterating a planet with ease.) It's draw back? Firing it takes a day or more if intended be used correctly and safely. However a depleted solar lance only takes from 1-19 hours depending on the amount of energy remaining in the coil, 1 hour being destructive as a faulty nuclear weapon, on a ginormous scale and 19 being as powerful to destroy a medium ship or damage a large ship to an extent.

Weaknessess: Arrogance nearly always leads to assumption in superiority, leaving the Liamarr gravely outmatched. Which is why we maintain only three worlds at the present daay. No elite ground troops, fleet is the only true power, but can be cumbersome.

Temperment and Values: Arrogant superiorists who care for little except sannctioned races that they deem a profitable race.

Strengths: Able to repair their forces with easy. Great engineers and scientists. Will assist organic races if they need it.
Weaknessess: If innocents are involved in warfare they will leave vital areas to protect the unarmed populations.
Background:
Almost 200 years ago the race, Merotas were masters at robotics and began to create synthetic allies called the Lerots to help them boost their army and help farm the land, in doing this their synthetic allies made a fond friendship with their creators.

All was not well the planet's water levels began to drop causing drought all around the globe this began to kill the Merotas by the thousands, in a last attempt they poured resources into trying to boost the water level but nothing ever succeeded. Knowing that they were all going to die the last few thousand began to fuse themselves with the Lerots becoming the first cyborgs but lost their minds to the stress of resisting the AI controlling their bodies, the Merotas were all but gone but the Legacy lived on the might Lerots grew and expanded into the stars hoping to find a way to create clones of their creators and grew the race anew.

after 25 years of trying to clone the result were failures, each failure a mutated creature twisted and insane, blood thirsty eternally wanting to rip organics limb from limb. The Lerot keep these creature on the lab world Ketora locked inside massive vaults never to be opened.

Strengths: Enormous Numbers, delusions of grandeur, the ability to maintain a stable level of tech dispite barbaric nature, VERY proficient at close combat, EXTREMELY hard to eradcate from a region once there
Weaknessess: very slow in army movement beaviors, ranged combat relies on very large or very fast firing guns to be effective, very disorganised, poor quality of hardware of the mainline troopers, spacecraft are generally rather poor in quality relying on numbers to win
