We had a great time, and everything from watching some of us break dance on the sidewalk outside the bar we went to Friday night, to the Coplayers, to the fun people at the tournament made it a really fun event.

Congratz to the winners and thanks to everyone who came out and made it fun! Next year will be bigger I am sure, everyone left this year with a positive experience and we had some first time tournament players that all said fun and were looking forward to coming back.

I hope you didn't take it personally, buddy, the wooden spoon is a joke prize meant to lighten the sting of getting last place on battle points. There was no offense at all intended. Your Crons looked awesome though.

Almost. I made some custom dice trays for Dakka Detachment One a few years back. 9" cake pan, lined around the edges with foam, with a decal applied to the bottom & then covered in clear resin. Works well for keeping dice containing & level, which speeds up game play for armies like Tyranids & Daemons, who are rolling buckets of dice during the game. Every second counts!

Yeah, it does help a lot, plus it makes things like cocked dice a non issue for the most part. If it doesn't land in the tray, it doesn't count.

We may have to move to 2 hours 30 minutes at 1750pts. The 2 hour 15 minute limit just fits and it saves 45 minutes to an hour off a typical day of gaming which makes a big difference.

Where exactly was this held? I have an uncle down there who i could mooch off of if I do go next year.

The LA convention center, gaming hall was on the west hall.

No none taken, I had fun and got to meet some really cool players. My wife just has a sick sense of humor and I thought you guys might find if funny.

Did anyone end up taking the gold line? And if they did, how was it?

I took it day 2. It was fine, only took 5 more minutes than driving and I got to read on the way down which is always a bonus since I never seem to have enough time to read anymore.

I had a hell of a time. Between hanging with good people all weekend, playing hammer, and a strong dance dance revolution session with a fellow named Grant... I think I'll show up again next year.

I still can't believe I fell short against Janthkin... the game still haunts me.
