I'm in a similar dilemma: stay at a friend's and save dinero, or stay at Bally's and save the commute? Either way, I'm going to have to look at dates for a few festivals I might be submitting for. February is suddenly a packed month for me.

I always go for save the commute.

I am definitely in for Heavy Gear! I expect a Dreadball or Bloodbowl tournament. Hoping other games like Wreck-age, Kaosball, Drake and Kings of War will have a presence.

Beerhammer is playing a 40K event that involves drinking beers and then using the cans as terrain pieces!

And yes, we are almost there with the planning! Tickets, hotel reservations, event descriptions, etc. will all be ready to rock next week!

Man this would be such a sweet event to go to!! Im looking at ticket prices and it isn't too bad. about $250 round trip.

The hotel prices are pretty up there though. I was thinking coming in on the 6th and leaving the 10th. When would things be wrapping up? Is it worth staying the night of the 9th? Or maybe catch a late flight out?

Event details will hit tonight shortly before ticket go up for sale. Judging from the feedback, it is going to be a bit of a mad dash to grab tickets.

It's Vegas. There're always cheap'ish flights; they WANT you to get there, and once you're out of money, they WANT you to go away again.
