well a monday morning/afternoon trip was planned. than my father, who was to watch my daughter, told me he had some doctor things going on and timing was not going to work. I will be calling Det. Curtis to see if a visit around 5 pm is possible. It not Wednesday.

Jason, I wouldn't suggest a 5pm trip to Norwich. Traffic will make the trip take 3+ hours.

But after reading through this whole thread I have to say how proud I am to be a small part of this community, great result and it's even better to see relative strangers pulling together to stop these crappy scammers. On a more serious note I'm SO proud of everyone for banding together to see this through, glad it didn't become one of those archived threads with 5 posts 4 of them being bumps and people who come across it wonder "whatever became of that?".

I'm also glad he's being charged as well, larceny might not seem like much in hinds sight, but next to a Fenrisian Wolf biting off his left ass cheek this is more then we could have hoped for, the possibility of arrest and a criminal record for this scumbag is just more dakka on the shoota in my opinion.

AAAGGGHHHH!!! this guy has created a mess. I have 7 turkey tins in the basement holding peoples parts. I still have like.....8 boxes Im shifting through. please send pizza, wings and adult drinks. Im gonna need all 3.

I think jason should get some kind of reward for doing this. Mabye all of the unclaimed minis after everyones stuff is returned?

He's too humble to accept such a gift, but letting him keep the left over bits and gubbins would be a rightful reward in my mind.

This seems, to me, to be the far better option. Better to pay someone from your own wallet, rather than someone else's.

Jason was able to contact me last nigt. This guy moved stuff quick, the only thing that was recovered of mine was a daemon prince... everything else is gone.

Actually, given that the officers basically went in and grabbed everything, it is entirely possible that there are items that were not sent in these trades at all. That's just common sense- they didn't have an inventory with them and basically just took everything. It's unlikely that he had no models to start with and thus some items probably were, actually, his... and as they were confiscated, whatever is left will be (quite fairly) left over with jason.

Jason, I had edited that out but you are exactly right. I'd like to ask everyone not involved not to post here for a bit, so that those who are involved can have the space to update when they have worked out with jason getting their items shipped back to them, if there was anything missing, etc.
