Eldar Corsairs

But more specifically... PIRATES

I've always been about Wealth, Wine and Wenches and if Eldar corsairs weren't so damned expensive to collect I would play them from dawn until dusk regardless of balance issues in the army or against other armies. These guys and gals fit my stereotypical swashbuckling persona perfectly. I would convert up howling banshees to be power-rapier wielding female duelists complete with tricorns and ruffles as well as their normal body suit and wild "banshee hair". The bulk of my forces would be made up of sea dogs on jetbikes and in war walkers, with the best available "broadside" weaponry, all bedecked in bright crimsons and golds. Prince Yriel would get an eyepatch and a sash with a handcannon stuck in it and probably a battered tricorn of his own and he would lead my army from a hover-galleon converted from a ravager or Tantalus (of course, the catamaran design wouldn't be very sporting for a galleon. I'd have to design a whole new pimpmobile for him).

I could go on forever about my band of pirate-y Eldar no-goods.

A fully converted Black Templar army, where all of the models were decked out like Sword Bretheren, loaded for war each carrying a great sword, a bolt gun, and a bolter.

Then pay someone to write a new codex where ccw, bolt guns and bolters are a part of standard wargear, and update the rules/vows so they're more in line with 6th ed. The new codex doesn't have to be Space Wolves good, but at least make them competitive whilst staying true to the fluff. Even if staying true to the fluff hurts us a bit I don't mind, like a rule that states "BT cannot be Battle Brother allies with any army that is currently employing a psyker."

Im not one for quantity, rather quality.

A decent sized Space Marine force (say about 3000pts) however every single model is "true scale" using terminator bodies as base. All the vehicles would be "appropriately" scaled as well (eg baneblades converted into landraiders, landraiders into rhinos). Obviously it would have no tabletop application, purely for aesthetic. Needless to say every single model would have considerable detail work both in extra bitz and painting.

If money was no object. I would probably buy a space marine pre heresy crusade force. So like 18 full legions with complete support elements including Titan legions and super heavy tanks. It'd probably end up being around 100k+$

IF money was no object, I'd buy out GW and make them update the Sisters of Battle in a way that doesn't suck, then buy an army of that.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

A converted mechanicus army including a few titans, knights, tons of skitarii and to top it off, a transport space ship. Or an army of nothing but elysians, valkyries, and other flyers.

Think I'd have to go with a holotank.

By which I mean, a fully operational and functional holographic projection chamber in which to wage wars between my little dudes.

And after GW funds the development, I'd own the world's first two of them.

The second one I'd have sent to my special cuddlefox in Michigan.

Why? Because even though I love the models, and I love building models, I really don't like painting most of the time. So if money were no object, I'd definitely have to go with something I'd never have to paint.

there's a little flag next to my username, in case u didn't know.

I'm not one for too many models, simply because I won't be able to finish painting them all.
I'd have to go for a simple 2500-3000 points of pure plastic, pure nurgle CSM. FW tanks, and every squad of plague-marines will be kitbashed from CSM, FW MKIII and plaguebearer kits. Heldrakes converted from arachnarok spiders (plague-drone style) and maybe a zombie dragon. Spawn kitbashed from the CSM spawn and river trolls kit, cultists bashed from beastmen and FW bits, loyalist-converted helbrutes (because FW is a bit boring)...man the possibilities are endless!

I would finish my Sisters of Battle. Every time I look at them, they seem so lonely and sad that they never get played. So that would be taking them from 500 pts to about 3000 points.

Yeah, I'd also probably just binge on SoB. 3000 or 4000 points worth, roughly. And a nice, big wall-mounted display case to put them all in. And maybe I'd buy loads of the FW iconography for them to make my force look uber-faithful.
