It is pretty wild isn't it. If she spent half the time answering her emails/working on customer service - she probably would have more customers (and happier ones too).

Why bother? She screwed up two of your orders from your posts earlier in the thread and you just tried to buy more from her. That'll teach her! She has enough customers apparently as despite having 90+ problems over the past year, her feed back is still over 98%.

I think I half knew she had blocked me. I just did not have that in my notes on her - I do now. Besides I have left negative for some people and bought later on and had a totally different experience and in one case even asked eBay to remove the negative I left because of the great response/turn around in the seller. For this seller - I had the two mistakes - and left the one negative feedback for her for the package that never arrived. She still would have had one more shot with me. Unless its over $50 or two negatives - I usually keep the option open to buy from again.
She has two OOP minis that I cannot find anywhere else. I have not seen them anywhere else except a guy in Italy (ebay) who wants about $30 more than they are cost (but he made them and I think he has the molds he hinted at that for one of them) and still he has not figured out how much to charge for shipping. Even dealing with Princess Frost might be better that getting ripped of by the other guy.
She has customers yes - lots of neutrals and a climbing negative. I would have thought she would be banned buy now - but I guess the good/neutrals outweigh the negatives here.

I've personally only ever had one minor issue with the Warstore and it was cleared up pretty quick. Are you buy chance referring to the rather "HIGH" prices the bits on ebay are for them. If so I agree sometimes its cheaper to buy the kits and part it out/sell it minus the bits you want. But lately bits seem to be harder to come by that they used to be...I wonder why GW!
As to paying double - bear in mind - I'm talking about an Italian guy wanting double before he calculated shipping and he refuses to use his own country's postal system. As abusive as she is - it might better than buying them from my other option. So I think I'll keep hoping someone else puts one on ebay or I find it in some other manner.

No, bad communication, blame the buyer, rude. Don't get me started on the prices. I emailed Neil, he pawned me off on a lacky. Twice. I won't be bothering them any longer to take my money. They're so busy and all.......
I guess it boils down to how bad someone wants something. Given what I've read on playerscove, I weigh is it going to get here? When? How much BS before I can get on with my life? At some point there's a tipping point.
Another good example is FW recasters in China & Russia. Sure you might save some coin, but what if it's a miscast piece of crap? You pay more from FW direct, but you're covered if they screw it up.

Sorry to hear that. Since I live at a lot of different APOs - I usually find his services the quickest, most reliable and generally cheaper than anyone else (lots of people try hiking prices on APOs - ignorant of the USPS regulations or in spite of them).
I understand that point. I'd like the two minis I'm interested in. I don't like dealing with most Italian shippers on eBay - almost always a postal issue - delay smashed boxes, missing packages from the senders. I my case it might well have been worth it at a 50% off the other option. Even with her "practices" I would not be out the money. With the Italian guy....I don't know. I get a gut feeling like I do with some of the re-casters. He made a comment on having the mold for one of them, but admits to not being the sculptor or the owner (company) of the mini. So I'm getting the "Danger Will Robinson, Danger!" feeling.

Opening the case got her attention at least. She has been kinda chatty today. She sent 2 different messages and will prob get another one shortly. A full refund of $23 is being offered. I have to send the "extra" wrong model back. She has not mentioned sending me the one I ordered. Here is my dilemma- I send the model back and I do not get the model sent to me. I'm short a model I need for my army, but I'm not out of the money. No other of what I need is on eBay...any of the times I have checked. Scibor is way more expensive plus $10 on shipping. If I keep the model and say screw it - I have a model I did not want, but paid for, and have to semi convert it or play it as is...and luckily I ordered an extra shield from another place so it can still match the rest of the army. Before her rudeness I was going to just leave neutral feedback...but looks like I am gonna go for that ultimate high she is talking about...

Man, I feel for you. It really boils down to how much of a pain is it going to be to convert it, as opposed to do you feel it's worth the hassle to keep trying to get it? And when you do get it, will it be in time.
Sadly, there's not an easy answer to this one. Well, that anyone other than you can come to.
Knowing my dumb butt, I'd probably order it and hope for the best. I did mention the dumb butt part, right?
Here's to a speedy outcome!

What specifically do you need? I might be able to source it for you and post it across? She might seem cheap in the US, but her £ prices aren't overly special here.
As for resolving with her, simply don't close the dispute until you have cash or product in your hand to your satisfaction, having it open will keep her motivated.

While keeping quite on the exact model(s) (I'm afraid of it disappearing while I have a back-up plan executed) one is Kabuki. Only I deal with Kabuki a lot. It's not a seller based out of Rome (area of) he is further south towards the boot tip. I've met some of the Kabuki guys in Rome - picked of some models from them at a New Years Party and side stepped the postal system (which does suck in Italy). It is not on their website (U.S. or Italian) and they say it is out of production. Which re-enforces my theory (gut feeling) the other guy is a re-caster. I've not informed Kabuki yet - I don't know Italian laws well enough and without evidence seems to be a wild goose chase - Don Quixote charge. Even if it was like the practices of selling a mini for the low price (compared to the $60 prices for most OOP Kabuki) I'd buy from them if I really need/want it. I've only had one minor issue with the Kabuki in over a dozen purchases - they sent the wrong base, later they sent the right one for free and let me keep the wrong one. So I have no issues with them. IT is the second mini that I want that really drives the price high.

Well the thing is she kind of paints herself into the corner. This is not true, not completely. The seller can add in the postage in the return payment for the shipping of the model. With a re-caster in France - he offered this to me to get back some forgeworld items he was re-casting (and poorly at that) the Cities of Death Booby Traps. I had sent them to the UK ( GW/ FW) for prosecution and Ebay refunded me the whole amount after it was confirmed the items were fakes.
Two things of note - 1) it will cost her more than she wants 2) if I recall correctly she used either eBay's printed labels or the Pitney Bowes. Which I believe ships a slightly lower cost than the actual costs of the USPS. (A few cents - wow.) It also allows her to by-pass the customs forms she does not seem to know how to fill out for APOs. She has complained about APOs being international - she tried charging me international rates something like $20 for an item that she shipped for about $3.50. I tried educating her sent her some links and she never replied to me
I think she has trouble with the concept of resolution. Because of her, shall we say, "snarky" attitude she assumes the default response will result in negative feedback. This is more likely because of her negative attitude, manifest in her texting/messaging skills, that she drives people to leave a negative or neutral.
warboss wrote:Leave negative feedback about the attitude regardless. Is she paying for return shipping?
If you can stomach dealing with her - you might be able to change her mindset (as unlikely as that is) and get her to pay or even split the postage charges. I had a split in my orders - one wrong item sent, the other one had a set of shoulder pads missing (the ones I filed a claim for and left negative feedback). She wanted the ones she mistakenly sent back paid for by me in shipping. I could not seem to get her to reason it out to a split or own up for her mistake. I had a friend assigned here with me who wanted a set of the ones I got. I paid her in Paypal, my buddy paid me in cash for them. I got the "missing and the never sent items" money back.
She kept sending me emails yelling (all Caps in text) that the other package (the third for the two orders) had arrived and I kept both of those but not paid for them. I told they had not or I would have done the right thing. I asked for delivery confirmation numbers - something she seems to do one in three times. ( I had 3 orders from her in total over about an 8 month period - only one had a customs form and a tracking number.) If you send something back - get a delivery confirmation number for it to prove it. I left feedback for her after she pissed me off, accused me of stealing from her and did not seem rational to work with in a response.
She does not seem to understand that the APOs, the military postal system ( MPS) adopted a receipt for all packages system. This is in response to many companies losing mail sent to Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and losing their items/money in the process. I will admit some Soldier have taken advantage of the system - but this is a small percentage. Most will do the right thing, realizing that the increase in postage includes paying out of insurance claims that are not legitimate. I also have found that very often it is the sending carriers who are not USPS (USPS stations - sometimes) that cannot or do not enter the information in the system to track - when there is not destination sent from entered and my package shows up in Europe. It is a little more complicated than I have explained, but this is the simple version of it explained. in my experience Canada and Italy are the two worst systems in Europe and North America. Russia (I have some family there) is terrible for delivery into Russia, but pretty good outside of Russia.
Even with all that said - I still want two damn models she has. ARGHHH - damn my Resin crack/miniature addictionnnnnnnnnnnnnn.......(Set to the Kirk - Khannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!! yell.)
I wish you the best of luck in resolution.

So does delivery confirmation tracking work with APOs now or is the receipt something different? I had trouble once with an APO address and paypal which is why I treat it as a foreign address for sales/trades (I don't charge shipping as an international address but I don't ship first or ship without payment other than paypal because of the lack of tracking). Basically, the last time I tried the tracking worked until it got into the military system at the local metro hub and then it stopped. The guy didn't try to rip me off but it took a while (weeks) to deliver the package despite him being within the continental US and he was mentioning starting a paypal claim (which I would have lost despite having proof of mailing it *somewhere*... paypal needs proof its delivered to the final destination zipcode which doesn't happen with APOs).

Wow - that situation being continental is weird. I'll explain that in a little detail in a second. Below is a link that helps a little. I do not have my bookmarks on my personal computer - they are on my government one at work.
Our military service members and diplomatic personnel work hard for us overseas. Far from home, few things brighten their days more than mail from friends and loved ones. Although for APO/FPO/DPO shipments you pay domestic prices, you’ll need to follow special guidelines. You will need a customs form for your APO/FPO/DPO packages. What form you need depends on the service you’re using and the declared value of your mail.
Link - https://www.usps.com/ship/apo-fpo-guidelines.htm
Some key notes - most military members are reluctant to give ranks these days - operational security overrides the mailing guidelines in this case. So it is option in most places. Some units (service dependent) require the Service member to give the rank.
Delivery confirmation has worked with the USPS and MPS since about 2003. To clarify this - it was sporadic and not well maintained. In 2007 some better systems started working this out better and by 2008 I know I was able to start tracking my packages from the US online with consistent regularity. I have several packages in the system right now. One of which shows it reached its destination this Friday. Well its not in my mailbox - so what happens is usually an Air Force MPS for me is Aviano. Someone there lists it as arrived yet it probably has not left the base to be delivered to mine until next Monday afternoon when it is processed at my base a few hours away. Usually it comes to my base and the MPS personnel register it there as arrived.
But this all depends on the U.S. dispatching center and the subsequent handlers/hubs properly tracking and registering/updating its process. I have had some go "missing" in the middle and the packages show up. A lot of the system needs refinement/improvement. There are some that never show up. There are even some packages that show arrived and never do arrive. There is a signature (digital) that corresponds to a package slip provided for each delivery confirmation/sign upon receipt that is issued.
There is also a way for the customs slip number to be used in the same way as the number is in the tracking system. There is a new number that is being issued out as of this April that several of us are having trouble - it is a third receipt that we have to keep track of when we send to the US and supposed to be in use there now. Not sure I haven't been Stateside since right before Christmas.
As to your situation - that is odd. Most bases ( CONUS) did away with CMRs (Community Mail Rooms - MPS using mainly U.S Servicemen to execute deliveries) and use their own base Postal Offices with P.O Boxes. The MPS only really starts when the packages are leaving the U.S. abroad to other countries (these are in California and New York). This works the same for Alaska and Hawaii - it goes into the local USPS and then the MPS then to military addresses for the bases in those locations - but these are consider OCONUS - Outside the Continental U.S. oh - for the record because the 49th and 50th states are U.S.states and not APOs in foreign countries - the postage is more there than to CA or NY hubs to reflect the same costs paid by regular citizens not in the military.
With your case I do not know what to tell you. I cannot explain it. But to let you know it takes 10-14 days for my priority packages to arrive from the US to me. It takes up to four weeks for regular mail/first class to arrive and as much as 3 months for media mail. So the length of time seems odd without knowing the distance between people.
I hope this helps. Send me a PM if there are more questions so as not to lead the post off course.

Thanks for the explanation. I wonder if the difference in tracking lies in the fact that I shipped *to* an APO instead of your experience shipping *from* one. That said, my experience is a few years old (maybe even up to 5 years putting it in the transition period you mentioned). The key for me restarting shipping to APOs would be whether the tracking works all the way to the destination.

No you misunderstand I ship to and from APOs. This is not only an explanation of how to ship from, but to ship to as well. I train Stateside at least once every two to three years for several months. Sometimes as much as five times a year as was the case last year.
I send myself and friends stuff all the time. I use delivery confirmation to ensure it is found, traced or I can file to get my money back as a filed delivery without the insurance prices.
Your experience/explanation of mailing to an APO stateside - I am at a loss. APOs do not exist inside the continental US. I think there is some other issue - possibly a bad address. There are no AA APOs listed for the continental United States. Canada and Mexico in the northern region and multiple in the southern region.
Here is a quick summary - Three Military "States": AA, which stands for Armed Forces (the) Americas; AE, which stands for Armed Forces Europe; AP, which stands for Armed Forces Pacific. Three "City" equivalents: APO, which stands for Army Post Office; FPO, which stands for Fleet Post Office and DPO, which stands for Diplomatic Post Office. They have three shipping locations - usually two are the most used, with AA's being the least used overall because of the number of forces stationed in the Pacific and Europe. AA: Miami, FL; AE: New York, NY; and AP: San Francisco, CA.

I don't know.. maybe the guy was trying to pull a fast one.. don't know. Thanks for the clarification. When you ship to a military address like an APO, does it give you delivery confirmation to the destination or does it stop part of the way there?

If everyone does their part in the chain - from start to finish it shows up. Signature is the best - it gets done no matter what but costs more. DC when it gets done, which in my experience is most of the time, is good enough. If you read the posts I have above it gives real world reports on one of my packages in the mail. I have one that has provided me a number - but it does not show in the system. Maybe it was not entered , maybe they gave me the wrong number. It ill work out one way or another.

I can get him to my house for $25, then what ever shipping to your house.
Don't know how that compares to US prices in general, but that doesn't seem too far off what she's charging.
Yes that is the model. It cost $23 from her, but from scibor it costs $24 plus $10 for shipping. I also just noticed the extra model she sent me actually costs more...so screw her I'm keeping it and she can eat that cost. Hmmm win win for me and because she was rude, slow, and incompetent, I am leaving neg feedback.

I am sorry I am not the only one with problems from the players cove. It does, however, make me feel better knowing I am not alone. My 2 neg feedbacks dropped her a 10th of a point at least. So make sure you guys leave your feedback and forget about going neutral...go full neg IMO.
