Bloody right.

His trouble is the gaks that spy on him so he thinks he has to do this stuff behind closed doors, but the telephoto lens brigade will always get it anyway. Make it sound secretive and dirty in the papers (certainly the way they are written here).

For plebs like me if we decide to have a game of one bollock drinking or our team declares a naked bar on tour, no one gives a damn, and rightly so. Usual highjinks for us that Harry would get pilloried for.

It was Harry in the SS uniform, but even that isn't as "shocking" as the press over here would have you believe. Is it bad taste? Probably. Shocking? No. Funny? A bit.

Nazi bit was Harry.

I have no idea why getting dressed up for a fancy dress party is notable until the press try to construe it as disrespectful to someone or another.

I mean I don't imagine he sat down at the sewing table to make it - why is that. Because you can get that stuff at a fancy dress shop. Taking the piss out of Nazis has been the basis of the most basic comedy routines here for 60 years!

Not realy relevent, but he didn't. He is still 4th in line to the throne (Well, 3rd for now). His military career has no effect at all on his title or rights. Most british monarchs have had a military career, including the queen. It is considered vital that they have some military experience as the (nominal) head of the armed forces.

I remember hearing something about an NCO getting some gak over facebook postings, but I think that was because he was using his status as a Marine to help get his message across, not just that he was saying them.

I can say whatever I want about about the POTUS, as long as I'm not using the AF in the message. It's commissioned officers who get in the gak over it. The UCMJ strictly forbids them saying the bad about congress critters and the TOTUS.

I believe he was in the gak because he called the president a dictator and called for an armed uprising. So, yeah, that's not really kosher if you're supposed to be enforcing the will of the duly elected leadership of the nation and that the man you are calling on people to shoot is your supreme commander...

It was very fething stupid and insensitive. But when you consider he's the grandson of Phil the Greek, well... hardly surprising was it.

It wasn’t an SS uniform, it was a generic German uniform (a bit Afrika Korps looking if I remember) that he wore to a colonialist themed fancy dress party. Total fuss over nothing if you ask me. Anyone would think he was attending rallies or something.

Dressing up and taking the piss out of the Nazis is a rich tradition in this country. Peter Cook, John Cleese and Spike Milligan all did it and where rightly praised for it. I think more of the people who screamed the loudest just had a problem with Harry (or the Royal Family in general) and where just using it as ammunition.

Tons of kids dress up in stupid and offensive costumes at parties, both in the UK and in the US.

His only problem was that he has cameras following him 24/7. It's hard to be a dumbass teenager/kid in his twenties when you are under the constant eye of the press.

Indeed. It's easy to confuse a ghost costume for something more sinister.

I just looked it up and it looks like a basic button up shirt with a swastika band on the arm. I'm more offended by how little effort was put into the costume.

Can't we all just get along?

If we did, wouldn't you kinda be out of a job?

Well ideally, the whole world should be at peace. But that's never going to happen, and I've accepted that. So I believe I would settle for those on the same side to get along at least.

I don't think most* people want war. Those who support it (like myself) just see it as a necessity- a last resort- of sorts.

Are there normally so many flags inside of UK armored vehicles? Because I'd need to know that, as a modeller.

Na, Harrys only problem with getting the throne is that is that he will soon be out of the direct line of succession.

There is only one way you can give up rights to the british crown, marry a catholic (or become one).

There is no other way, even saying you give up the right means nothing unless you have the very rare case of having a prince/princess regent, in which case they can say "I don't want this job any more", but that is realy an abdication by another name and a regent is realy a monarch by another name, so dosn't realy count.

So what you're saying is, Harry will have to kill his brother, the duchess and their sprog. Hmm. This royal stuff's more interesting then I thought.

Well at one time it was standard for a king to be involved in battle.. right up until Henry VII, who I believe was the first king to watch from the sidelines.

Although I'm not sure how you would equate hitting someone with a sword to using a helicopter's gatling gun on men in a pick-up truck who are trying to ward you off with an AK-47 fired out of the window.

The law changing the situation has not been passed yet. It is in the process and the CofE bishops are trying to stop it as I understand.

The odd thing is that it is fine if they are muslim, hindu, taoist etc. but not a Roman Cathoilc. The reasons are complex but it is a stupid place to be.

Oh, and no need to kill Kate. She is not in the line of succession. He just needs to take out Charles and William. He must know a few snipers...

I was thinking you need to take out Kate on the grounds of removing the wee usurper.
