Time for new promises and wishes!

This month I hope to get my ISS starter finished up.

How about you folks!?

I am going to put all my painted ACW 15mm on to new MDF bases.

I am finally going to finish painting the dozen or so walkers for my DzC PHR army. I am also going to purchase and begin assembling the FoW Kampfgruppe Peiper army box.

going to keep it simple this month, especially as I'll be overseas for the first two weeks of it:

1. complete drop pod (it's about 80% done already)
2. assemble and paint a biker captain and command squad

Okay this month I am super serious in actually getting something done.

1) Finish these darn valkyries. I finally have everything but the paints and one lascannon.

2) Paint a dreadball team

For some stretches: Paint another dreadball team. Paint some blackwater gulch

Finish up Mid-War Soviets for FoW

Start 40K Dark Angels

Paint an entire squad of units. I have a short attention span .

I never finished my last set of vows, ugh. Here goes:

1. Find all my old Chaos bitz and units from back in the 90s.

2. Build them.

3. Paint them.

I intend to finish painting my daemon army before my birthday (11 days to go) when I will get a load of IG stuff to start on. Only 19 plague bearers, 10 bloodletters, a bloodthirster and a daemon prince to go.

Its okay, I made a goal one month to paint 1 model, and I barely managed to do that. My problem is I get distracted by other projects. Already off to a poor start on this month. I want to paint dreadball and here I am working on dreamforge.

I'll be working away at my Imperial Fists. (Link in sig!) Need to paint the Captain and his Command Squad, then get building.

Oh, and my Paladins have been headless for the last year or so because I never got around to painting up their heads on their sprues... Hm, I should get around to doing that...

Then, assemble the Baneblade, assemble/fabricate Chimera chassis for Manticore launcher scratch-build, finish assembling these 8 Kamodo APCs and get everything primed.



There is also a squadron of scout sentinels that needs some attention...I'll make that a stretch goal (with magnetized weapon options...)

Primed my Wolf Guard termies last night so hopefully finish them, got an almost assembled Wraithlord (waiting for some conversion parts) so maybe that as well.

Then there's the Wraithguard box sitting on my desk...

I am actually working on them today, and will complete them by the end of the week!

My goal is to finish all my Dark Eldar vehicles for my 1500 point army (sans all the troops hanging off them). Those being:

Two Raiders
Ravager
Razorwing Jetfighter
1 Venom
6 Revear Jetbikes (not a vehicle gameplay wise, but I'll count it for this)

Finish at least 10 of my Kingdom of Men cavalry. They only need little touchups, basing and matte. Finish 12 Blood Bowl Barbarians that were converted to H2H fighters. Finish 7 Savage Orcs. Paint 1 Squat and 1 Forge Father to see if I like the color scheme.

I am just trying to source the last 2 bits I need and I am on the home stretch for the vendettas! They are getting the last bits of paint on saturday hopefully.

These are from Bommerz over the Sulphur River and will be seeing double duty in Full Thrust. I want to replace the cardboard air defense batteries with minis, are there any Epic air defense/laser batteries available?

Busy month so just:
10 chaos warhounds
1 Salamander’s objective maker. Trade for a Zoanthropes that was being used as a marker.

UPDATE:

The Basilisk is completed, just needed some cosmetic work.
All 4 Scout Sentinels have been assembled & magnets applied to various weapons.

The Chimera Convertible (Chimera/Manticore) is under way, I found an inexpensive insert/missile rack so I just need to scratch-build the four missiles.

Well I got the valks even closer. Just need to finish up some painting on the weapons, and add some magnets

And the dreadball teams are primed, but need some touch ups in some spots I missed. Then on to painting.

The first of the partially-pre-constructed Kamodos are almost done! The Manticore conversion is all ready too, but for all five of these models I am waiting for a supply drop for bitz I ordered...aquilas, H Bolters, and such.

I am still thinking about how to best represent the turret multilaser...



14 June UPDATE:

Supply drop! Received the Manticore Missile rails today, along with the heavy bolters to mount on the hulls and lots of Aquilas. Ordered some Sentinel Multilasers yesterday, now I'll just need to build some kind of mounts for them...
