Griffon was doing the metals as I understand, not sure about the resin.

You could always ask who does the resin, they're pretty open about it as far as I can tell.

Trollforged is doing the spincast resin.

Two female Dreadknight variants and a walking tractor. Were definitely bad enough for me NOT to pledge for the mecha... or the bikes for that matter.

They are very weak in the vehicle design department.

You are entitled to your opinion personally i am loving the retro look of the KST walker will look right in line with my Dust tactics stuff.

yeah, i got not problems with the alien-esqu power loader with guns. Bad Ass imo

I wasn't a huge fan of the mechs either, though I love the KST mech pilot.

Herald Mode: They're hopefully going to do another backer update just to clarify, but RH is saying in an official channel to us, the remaining Heralds who haven't suffered a stroke yet, that the phrasing in the last email was a poorly done/clumsy translation and does not accurately reflect the status of the company.
Personal Opinion: I believe the intent was more along the lines of this KS being the launch pad that will bring them into a more serious realm to have a legit gaming system to go with their minis, and really have a fully fleshed out range, then implying dire straits for the company.

Whenever I get my hands on a Jailbirds mecha, first thing I'm going to do is add wires leading from the control gloves to the frame itself.

Well I cheated and studied Japanese, and my sensei smacked my hand a few times for mispronouncing and misspelling that particular word in romanji, which I took to because it's used similarly to "roger" and "affirmative" which are common words in my former field.

I'm kinda wondering now if a Jailbird mecha would fit on a 60mm base with such a wide-legged stance.

No one uses wireless in the future? Although adding wires does somehow make it more realistic, oddly enough.

Wireless is a weird concept even in current military tech. Outside of communications any way, and I suppose fly by wire aircraft.

Blood Rage has legitimately good-looking models for the models, so it's not just hype; nor quanitity of things (although there are a *lot* of minis for the money).

Overhyped would be if they didn't deliver in a reasonable amount of time, but nobody here would know anything about that, would they? Nor about changing the product after the fact?

Yeah wireless is probably a poor term at least in military, however 'remote' isn't considering the success of Predator and Reaper drones.

Well. You have to remember how often pilots crash those things because they lose orientation, and of course that they've been hacked before, but yes, dollar per flight hour the damn things are pretty okay. I hate'em as a proper airman though.

Right but we're not remote piloting the Mecha, just the arms, so orientation isn't an issue and at close transmission points hacking is less of an issue. But then again if we are playing Infinity, then its all part of the game at that point and possibly not having a hacker or engineer is just a bad army list. However the earlier versions of the drones and programming did have some issues but that is only because the military won't trust the software to fly itself fully. There are software packages that when certain conditions are met, including hacking attempts, it will disable remote piloting control and pilot itself back and land at X or Y airfield. The automated feature set for certain conditions or when it has gotten too high or flying too low, correcting itself and then returning to land. Not sure if that is in the Predator but I've seen it in the Reaper when doing software tests.

So, any word if shipping of Wave 3 is actually suspended or not until they get a cash infusion from the other KS or not?

I'll ask, I don't think that's happening in any context however.

I thought Wave 3 was already shipping, basically if you order was completely in then it was shipping. Meanwhile they are still missing something like 8-9 models that they are waiting on. It doesn't make sense that they would have to hold off for a cash infusion, especially considering they sent out "Late" packs to the backers. If it was an issue of funding then the amount spent on shipping would have covered missing expenses.

Official word from RH on this matter:

we don't need any new cash to finish Wave 3: all those funds have been set aside and allocated for our suppliers a long time ago!

They will be addressing all of these rumors prior to the start of the campaign, but the basic facts are this as they have been presented to us.

Wave 3 is paid for, casting and orders are shipping on completion. Nothing is on hold.
The company is not in dire financial straits.
This KS was planned well in advance, and they aren't shooting from the hip for a last desperate hand hold
