The warrior on the left, is that also a Hasslefree miniature and if so which one? I quickly looked through the above linked webshop and couldn't find it.
Edit: found her: "HF4004 Tiriel"

Bah!!! I had my first trip to a FLGS in years yesterday and did everything I could not to start buying plastic crack again. They have some nice figures that are really tempting.

Just £2 for possibly the coolest miniature of all time, the boy in goat suit (which is definitely prime material for an Infinity citizen model)

I do like that he's just called Boy in Goat Suit. No explanation or anything. Just some guy in a goat suit. I know it probably isn't a big deal or anything, but what kind of metal are the Hasslefree figures made of? Is it lead-based or something else?

If you want explanation you must unearth if from Frothers, Frothers of course are NSFW.

Last Remaining Whole C'Tan
|
I just got my first order in the mail today from Hasslefree. Some quick thoughts:
I ordered on June 23rd, Shipped on the 27th, in my hands on July 3rd. Very happy with the turnaround and delivery times - there is stuff I orde r from the US that doesn't come that fast.
The box had some candy in it, which pleased me. Unfortunately I opened it at the table and my wife and stepson were right there and saw it, thus obliging me to share. The portion remaining was delicious nonetheless.
The sculpts themselves were incredibly crisp (I got them in resin, one was a resin master) and required zero cleanup, zero moldlines; although I did wash them in case of mold release. Ready to prime nearly out of the package if you don't wash first, you filthy savages,
The scale is... well, why tell you, when I can show you.
Below is a Forge World traitor guardsman, a (no scale listed) resin master of Gwen, a Privateer Press Commander Sorcha, a Games Workshop Khorne Berserker, 40mm resin Tiriel, a Reaper Deladrin, and a Reaper Black Orc Hero. So you can see how well they will fit in with what games you play.
All in all I am very happy with my order and would unhesitatingly recommend Hasslefree.

Awesome, I just ordered my first Hasslefree minis today due to the sale as well. Wish i had gotten goatboy, but such is life lol. I ended up getting the "mystic warriors" with the exception of the larger mini. I plan on changing the swords to lightsabers and doing a diorama of Jedi awesomeness. xD

From their site: "We supply castings in both white metal and resin." Automatically Appended Next Post: From their site: "We primarily manufacture 28mm scale fantasy and sci-fi figures. We work to a ‘true’ 28mm scale and not a ‘heroic’ scale which means that approximately a 5'10" tall man would be 28mm to his eye level." As I've said before a few times in other threads, Hasslefree makes great minis, they will however not fit in well with the abominations of GW, Infinity and PP. Automatically Appended Next Post:
"This is the body pose for the last of the interchangeable current set of Modern Troopers. It has been put together using the Hassle Head, heavy backpack and M27 IAR.
(This will be the body for 'Woody' & 'Alien')" Automatically Appended Next Post:
"Armature Process #5 - Just calling them that for uniformity at this point, we're way past an armature work has been started, extra details sculpted onto the body and about the only major detail left is the hair."

Very nice!
Just got (in the Wayland sale) goat boy + an old lady (I have to watch the sketch again.. was it an old woman or a young boy..? OK.. I'll stop now.. )
Also got one of the 'Fatties with belly' wheel, from Mongoose (Judge Dredd), all of which I hope will make good civilians for Infinity.
Just found this one still on sale, how cool is it?

I wonder if they're planning to produce more like this? I want to buy it, but at the same time, it's hard to justify buying a single miniature when the entire reason I want it is to add it to my army... kind of leaving my army to either be a bunch of clones or to have a few very different models that don't mesh with the rest :/

I suppose it might be possible if they produced two or three fairly standard shooting/running poses with separate heads. Then the character figures could be mixed in and used as officers and so on.
Hasslefree is a boutique studio, though, so the investment might be too much.
We can hope, anyway.

I'm sure he'll get to do more eventually, as Kev likes to work on this and that, keeping things fresh.
They've got Kev as a Jedi up for sale now, so you can finally have their entire family as Jedis! There's also a guy in a banana suit and a concubine out, the image has been spoilered because well, the concubine is nekkid.

Just put together some stuff last night and it's like a white metal.. I'd say more similar to the stuff GW used to use, the type currently used by the likes of Warlord etc. (i.e. quite standard, and not a high lead content etc. - if they're even allowed to use that now? )

To be far, she is made to be part of a squad, but the rest of the squad figures are currently male. I can't think of any western army that currently has all female units.

I love my Hasslefree minis. They make great Infinity figures, honestly. I use them for Ariadna, and they mesh well with my Statuesque minis.

I can't think of any western army that currently has laser guns as a standard infantry rifle, either, but I still play an army that uses laser guns. Also I don't think any modern army uses scout walkers as a mobile heavy weapons platform, or that has yet to weaponize plasma. Infinity has some okay figures, but there's a lot of stupid crap mixed in, too. Like all the bare midsections in female Ariadna miniatures, or that stupid nun who is shoving her thonged ass out. Or the Caledonian volunteer model which is painted to show her nipples through her shirt (and probably has them showing on the model, too).

You are of course correct. But to be fair, the female soldier is part of a modern warfare squad.
I would like to see more females for the squad as well. Time (and sales, I suppose) will tell.

Yep, she is a modern trooper, not a sci fi trooper. As such, she fits in well with the rest of the modern squad members.
