It's a 100$ difference, it has inferior hardware and forces you to buy a gimmick. I just don't get why M$ did this...they out-competed themselves price-wise with the Xbox 180°.

Hey... I'm Playstation fanboi here... but, I think it's more that Sony is pricing the PS4 more "at a loss" than MS planned to do with the xbox 180.

It's the DDR5 memory in PS4... that's still an expensive memory component.

Didn't they say they sell it with no loss?

The Tflops are more important than anything else and those are both reasonable for what the consoles want to do.

Yeah... I still don't believe them.

If you're going to be leery of the PS4... it's this. The memory GDDR5 runs hot. That's why on the new PC graphic cards they have those massive heat sink. I'm sure that came into MS' consideration in selecting the GDDR3.

I know which I would put money on with being the more reliable machine. My PS2 still works, my PS3 has never had a problem. One of my friends got through 4 XBOXs before giving up with them. That being said, I do remember having to regularly play with my PS1 placed upside down when the disc wheel started to warp

Still can't decide on which game to get launch day, at the moment I'm leaning towards the Tom Clancy game 'Division' which looks awesome in the vids (although I'm not sure how it will work played solo).

PS4 is sold out at Amazon Germany, same as Gamestop.

I'm trying to get mine from a local independent store.. They're still waiting to get their allocation numbers, and reckon that a lot of other stores are operating on guess-work.

Hopefully I'm not going to get punished (by not getting a PS4 at launch) by trying to support the little guy..

"The Division" is not a launch title.

I'm actually curious to see if the rumored ps4 +vita bundle for 500$ is true or not. If so I will upgrade my pre order

I'm just hoping Kingdom Hearts 3comes out for the console as rumoured, in which case I may start saving. Otherwise there's nothing there that I don't already have in my PS3 release model. I don't even play online or have a PSN account so have no way to trade data to the new system. Plus all my 2 grand's worth of PS2 and PS3 games I need my PS3 for.
