My first thought is a set of the powered armor they give to Inquisitors and sisters of battle (i.e. the kind that you don't have to be a space marine to use). Preferably one of the relic suits with a weapon attached so I can have some offense.

But I'm sure there's more awesome stuff out there if I wanted to think hard enough. If we could just get a hold on enough 40k tech we could totally jumpstart human technology by a few generations.

A space marine battle barge of my own mary sue chapter which has all vehicles completely autonomous and can be controlled by the thoughts of a single person even if they are not a psyker, and my death through unnatural causes creates a nuclear explosion 100 times more powerful than a supernova.
Why? This is a universe where homemade fluff is good to work with. I can create whatever I like. And world domination is fun.

Nah, no weapons for me, I'll take some good old fashioned convenience. Give me an Eldar jet bike or a set of Swooping Hawk wings and I'll be set. I'd like a Warp Spider jump pack over the wings, but then I thought about it and I'd rather not risk getting lost in the Warp.

I'd totally be down for the new crisis commander suit (without being stuck in a stupid pose its actually pretty sweet!) with all interchangeable fixins!

I want to personally get a suit of power armour, a bolt pistol and a chainsword. Then I want to go back in time to 480 BCE to the Battle of Thermopylae where I shall help the 300 Spartans and the other 1200 Greeks against the Persians single-handedly. After making mince meat out of the Persians I shall be revered as a god by the Greeks and temples will be built for me through the Mediterranean. Then when I am revising for my Classics GCSE Sparta exam, I will read about a mystical warrior that dropped from the sky and took out 100,000 - 200,000 thousands with a sword that shrieked like Scylla and a projectile weapon that screamed like Ares. This will bring a smile to my face...

I would want a landspeeder. Why? It's not actually for the day-to-day utility - it's for the technology it contains.

Today it's exceptionally hard to get into orbit - but if it was possible to replicate the anti-gravity generator this would massively kick-start the exploration of space. The fundamental insights into physics this would provide would also have the potential to change the world beyond all recognition.

Am I the only one who's not just thinking of themselves, or looking at the utility of an item in terms of its technology rather than its utility? Perhaps I'm over-thinking this then

How about an Eldar Spirit Stone containing the spirit of a dead Eldar who will help and teach me how to tap into my own psyker potential? (assuming I have psyker potential of course). Not only would I be a psyker, but I could be taught to create wraithbone and how to build basically anything the Eldar have.

To continue on my earlier line of reasoning, why have all those other mundane items such as Power Armour or Boltguns when you could grab a Battle-barge and have them anyway, PLUS a whole lot of awesome for all of humanity? It makes no sense.
