Ok, so there I was... couple of weeks ago, up against my buddies "new" Tau with my Khan/Scar list...

Highlights of the day included:
- alpha-striking 'Dread-Pod' and outflanking Land Raider were able to Immobilize and Destroy Railgun on one, and Explode the other Hammerhead, respectively, by turn 2!
- outflanking 'Stern-Back' successfully tank-shocked his Broadside team off the board, and...
- infiltrating 20 strong Kroot Squad; broken and falling back from fire inflicted by Typhoons & Bikers in previous turn, charged and massacred by 4 little scouts with pistols on turn 3! (oh yah, and Snipers actually put 2 wounds on his crisis suit "Shas' Wennie" or whatever Warlord dude too!)
- freshly de-barked Assault Termies withstand insane volume of fire on Tau turn and ridiculous overwatch/supporting fire on own turn(all hail the Storm Shield!) to charge 9" into Riptide, dealing 4 wounds, causing him to run like a ! Meanwhile, Stern Guard and Razorback mow down Stealth team hiding on objective turn 4!
- and for the coupe de gracy Khan, in a series of turns, rides onto the field and (a) chucks krak down the hatch of immobile Hammerhead (for good measure!) BOOM! (b) intercepts and charges fleeing Riptide, landing 2 wounds of 6 with mighty Moonfang of which he failed one save for and suffered instant death! And (c), last but not least, carrying the severed little blue Xenos robo-freak head of their fallen champion Khan charged into the Pathfinders on last held objective, destroying them in a single handed Sweeping Advance... WOW!!!

Rather than accept the heretics surrender, The Master of the Hunt, bloody trophy in hand, pulled back to the ship and nuked the tainted planet from orbit... it was the only way to be sure! (ok, I added that last part!) Truly the most complete, perfectly executed victory of my "carrer"!

I played a game today with Ultramarines against necrons. A single tactical Sergeant with a PS and PP took out a necron Overlord, who got back up only to be smacked down again, and then shot the last wound from a Destroyer lord, who learned from his commander and decided it would be better to stay dead than face Sergeant Solinus one more time.

Never believe them when they tell you not to upgrade Tac sgts...

In the same game, a Flamer Tac squad with Libby in a pod came down T1, and hit a unit of scarabs and 15 warriors. Two failed Ld tests later, and I had 2 KP and First blood as they ran for dear life (death?). Best Drop Pod assault I have ever seen.

I was playing Nids against a Space Wolves player. I pinned his entire army for three turns. Then proceeded to wipe him from the board on turn four at a total loss of about 75pts of my 1500 pt list. THe lost models were ones that I fed to him in the hopes that he would feel better about the game. He didn't.

I had three squads of Deathwing come in by deep strike come I'm right on the money in the other players deployment zone very close to the table edge and their models. Took heavy weapons fire from long fangs and hits from a riptide and hammer head made all my saves and took the objective. A great moment for the Deathwing and a very fun game.

I was about to get flanked by my opponents very mean demon prince that would easily wipe my Manticore and Hellhound then fly into my blob squad. I took a chance and fired a demolisher cannon at it. Didn't scatter, (which for me is notably rare) and he failed his 2+ cover save causing ID. Which allowed my Manticore to detonate 2 of his DE transports next turn and the Hellhound to practically wipe their contents as well.

Sweeped 3 riptides? With 1 Daemon Prince. They lost combat and I rolled a 6. DAMN I LOVE I9.

Back to the glory days of 2. Ed.
I had just bought the brand spanking new Predator Annihilator and was thrilled to see what mayhem it would unleash on my regular opponent who played DA Ravenwing.
He had first turn and drove his bikercaptain up next to my new tank, threw a Vortex grenade at it, making it dissapear in the Warp without so much as moving a millimeter.

I got pretty miffed at this, but saw my opening for a beautiful and vicious revenge move as his captain was now very close to my Librarian who had the psychic power Assail (which could be used to pick an enemy model and move it 6" in any direction).

Lets just say that his bikercaptain and my Annihilator crew is probably enjoying each others company in the Empyrean to this day

The most awesome thing that I did with a 6th edition Defiler was.

First turn it blew up a Farseer and his jet bike squad with his battle cannon.
It spent several turns munching away at eldar.
Then an avatar, which ate through my Daemon Prince and my Chaos Lord charged it.
The delfiler spent several turns slowly devouring the avatar without taking a single wound, because every time the avatar got through he kept passing his 5+ invulnerable.

This Defiler has taken on so many things and demolished them that it is unbelievable.

Good that someone's defiler does something, because mine has been killed on the first turn of almost every game and is now known as the unlucky one. The first time I used it telion guided a scout with a missile launcher and the defiler turned into pile of rubbleon the first turn when the defiler was half an inch away from maximum range due to nightfighting.

Last edition it ate an entire squad of biker nobz with pk, it's some kind of super Defiler.

I don't think I've ever had a defiler live past turn 2.

The most awesomesauce thing I ever did with a shokk attack gun was target a deck chair unit on the bottom of turn 7 only to roll double 5's and mishap leading to my big mek assaulting a unit of scouts, challenging the serg, and contesting the objective.

was playing an apocalypse match a little while ago and came into a spot of bother. My daemon prince had accidentally gotten into a fight with a dreadnight. I was also in combat with a grey knights champion. What happened first was i killed the Champion but it turned out that he could take my prince with him and had to pass a deny the witch 6+ to stop him. I managed to pass it somehow, but then his dreadnight decided to use his scary fist thing which got to re-roll due to preferred enemy. He got four instakill hits, all of which i managed to save with my 5+ daemon save.
I had to leave before the game was finished and before it was killed. I have used him four times since then and he has not died once, but he always finishes on one wound. He's magic.

Overwatch with 2 crisis suits shooting a plasma each. Rolled 4 6s, then to wound rolled 4 1s against 2 chaos chosen ... Luckily I had a pathfinder squad in support range that finished the job.

You should model him holding a dreadknights ripped off arm while stomping on a champion.

An outflanking MM attack bike melted the tech marines for two thunderfire cannons in Big guns never tire. helped my tie the game!

Yesterday my 2 combat squads of tactical marines were assaulted by deathwing terminators, first I killed the lone sergeant assaulting the first squad with a single bultgun hit in owerwatch and then the only deathwing knight in range to assault with a second boltgun shot, that's precision for you.

Fifth ed tau command squad, 1000 points vs the new necrons, the command squad was set up as fireknife with targeting arrays, shas'o with plasma, afl and shield managed to flank the crons wipe out an entire unit of immortals with a lord, in a single round of shooting, kill a unit of death marks tesserect arc and a unit of warriors, single haddedly tabling most of the opposing army

Killed two Battlesuits in close combat with five guardsmen.

Someone did this to me: A regular necron lord (had SW, MSS, WS) hid in a warrior unit that got repeatedly whacked by TH/SS termies. Finally, after the termie caught up witht the unit (they fell back), the Lord challenged my TDA SS Librarian, and killed him (the Libby had 1W left). He proceeded to challenge the sergeant, killed him, and sent my terminators packing. He later caught up to them, and tied them down, but he was the only necron left. The score was 6 KPs to 3, with me winning on T5.

30 devourer gaunts catching opponents off guard after giving them PE from swarmlord. Nothing better than telling them im now going to roll 30 dice 3X rerolling 1's to hit and wound.

Hands down the coolest thing I've ever done was deff roll Bjorn the Fell Handed into a pile of smoldering scrap. He popped out of a drop pod next to me and tried to take out the wagon, but I saved it with a 5+ IM cover. I then turned and ran him down, scoring four pens and rolling one six. He said "Woah, I'm Billy Bad@$$, so you're going to have to re-roll that one." So I did and blew him up anyway.

The second coolest thing I've done was put Ghazzy and a full retinue of MANS against Draigo and his paladins. Every one of the unnamed models died on the spot, and 6 rounds of combat later, Ghazzy came out victorious with one wound left. It was nothing short of amazing.

Last turn of game three of a tournament I played yesterday. My Farsight Enclave was set up to pull full battle points. My Daemon opponent felt it was a good time to roll boxcars on the warp storm table summoning a unit of Plaguebearers onto his Major objective. I also felt it was necessary to fail two out of three saves to lose the minor objective. My 12 Battle Points turned into 7. I ended up finishing 2nd in the tournament with a 29 first with 33.

On vassal, test games against feared lists, just taken out a 6 wound WK in CC, with prescienced daemonettes charging, in one combat phase.... 6 rends lol. Lost one in return.

I can top that, prescienced Daemonettes killed a Riptide, Shadowun, and their drone friends...in one combat phase (although they broke and I swept them)

Moral of the story: Daemonettes rock.

I have the opposite. A single Archon took down my squad of 10 daemonettes. It would have been funn had I not been utterly flattened.

Well yeah, rending ain't got nothing on a shadowfield. Haha. That's the exact wrong target for Daemonettes =)

When he's leaping out of a venom with a squad of Incubi he's damn hard to avoid! As you can imagine rending goes through 3+ saves like a Northerner through curry.

Then have no gone on to kill another WK that charged them taking one wound in return and rended that to death, currently going after the third.... There was only 10 to start! lol
