The Most Awesome Thing I've done with a regular GKSS marine was to bring down the Avatar one shot as it had all its wounds.. He was the only model left of the unit with a deamon hammer and the opponent botched all his atks while I passed one wound and the psychic test .. now my hero of a GK has the avatars head on his backpack as I bet my opponent that I would won the game (if I 'd loose he would step onto the same marine as he was so pissed of and wanted revenge .. )

That's what I call double the disappointment ---> double the flavor

Assaulted a Trygon Prime with 100 termagant from four squads.

Oh was it glorious.

Nuked 3 wounds with fleshborers and the last 3 with poisony goodness.

But oh wasn't the image epic?

Killed 2 Necron Wraiths with a Fire Dragons Exarch. Round after, one shot a croissant with the same guy.

Had Belial challenge Draigo, and win. Big "B" had a TH/SS and just couldn't be wounded. My opponent was surprised, to say the least.

Killed a wraithstar unit (dlord w/mss and 3x wraiths with lashwhips) with a squadron of typhoon speeders in one round of fire. He marched it up the field and was trying to get from cover to cover. I threw my dice and he threw his dice. I gave him his moment of silence as he looked at all the 1's and 2's he'd just thrown. HAHA

My memories all stink.

I got tabled at the top of T1 by Imperial Guard templates before I even got to move.

In a tourney I didn't kill a single enemy model. I wasn't tabled out of the kindness of my opponent.

At the end of 5th Edition, my tide of 2200 points of boyz beat Kaldor Draigo, his homies, and his flying tank. True Story.

In 5th I had a Bezerker Skull Champion with a Power fist kill 4 Terminators, a Chapter Master, and 9 out of 10 Tac Marines in a single game. A different game with the same Skull Champion he was the last surviving model out of my whole army locked in CC with Mephiston. He prevented me from being tabled. Another significant accomplishment was he has also taken down a Wraith Guard in a game. He became to be known by me and my FLGS as "MVP Skull Champion".

In 6th I had a squad of 8 MoK Raptors (including a champion with a Power Axe) I lose 7 to Tau fire warriors before I get into assault, so all that is left is the champion. He assaults, survives overwatch, and for the next 3 turns slowly cuts down the whole fire warrior squad by himself, making all of his saves, and winning combat. My next turn I moved him behind some terrain to give him some cover from being killed and giving my opponent a kill point. He however is partially seen and almost takes a Rail Gun to the face, but makes his cover save and stays alive the rest of the game.

On the contrary I tried to be saucy with some Deep Strikes in 5th and impaled a squad of Oblits and my Daemon Prince (in the same game) in the rafters of a building. It sucked but it was funny to think about.

I did 6 player Kill Teams a couple of weeks ago. Orks, SM, Eldar, Tau, Dark Eldar, and IG. Since we played Last Man Standing, there were no turn counters. I hunkered down in some ruins in the middle of one board edge with 7 Lootas, a Deffkopta, and about 20 Shoota Boyz. I managed to survive the onslaught of Terminators, Eldar Elite, Ruins-Jumping Tau Suits (I have no clue what they're called) and it came down to me and the Dark Eldar (IG Stormtroopers got wiped by the DE).

After a couple of turns of Orks and Dark Eldar slugging it out and forcing leadership checks on both sides (and both of us passing), we decided to call it a draw since the store was about to close.

Usually Shadowsun drops down and shoots some tanks or something for me, then takes a bit of fire before the enemy realizes she isn't really worth all the firepower.
But in the last game I played, my opponent decided that it would be easy enough to mop up the warlord point by stomping shadowsun with a wraithknight. So he turned the knight around, jumped away from the main force of my army it was about to crush, and charged shadowsun.

Never attempting to leave the combat, shadowsun proceeded to pass 14 consecutive 4++ saves on instant-death attacks. Six rounds of combat later the wraithknight finally gets one through, and turns around to finds out that it is nearly the only model left in the army, with no hope of getting the relic back from me.

I just imagine Shadowsun standing there, the wraithknight's foot slowly sinking her suit into the ground, shouting "WHAT YOU GOT? WHAT YOU GOT?"

Won me the game right there.

I have a correction for my most awesome thing ever.

In one of my first games I had insanely lucky dice versus my opponent's insanely unlucky dice.

In 3 - 4 Rounds of combat my DCA, now this is the old 40pt Daemonhunter DCA that were more amped up then they are now...managed to slice through 5 Lightnig Claw Terminators and proceed to take out a whole squad of assault marines without failing her 5+ evade sv.

I Have never seen my dice do better work than that day.

A good friend of mine had recently started playing Necrons and was quite excited to field his newly assembled (and beautiful looking) Triarch Stalker for the first time.

He was rushing it up at the front of his line followed by a squad of 3 Wraiths. He got turn one and ran it towards my Farseer who was outside LoS behind a small outcropping of rocky terrain. Some of his other forces were exchanging shots with various other parts of army but there were no casualties at that turn.

My turn came up and I moved my Farseer out of cover and into LoS of the Wraiths. Passed my Psychic Test on Puppet Master, forcing the Wraith with his Transdimensional Beamer to fire at the Stalker. With a S7 it failed the Strength Check and was removed as a casualty with no saves. Got my First Blood. My squad of 3 War Walkers turned around and unloaded 3 Scatter Lasers and 3 Bright Lances (which were twin linked due to laser lock) into the Wraiths. Downed all 3 of them in a single volley.

That game was actually quite funny because all of his expensive units basically gave up on him (his HQ, Elites, HS all just rolled like crap and died). His normal Necron Warriors and his Tomb Blades held out for several turns against a hailstorm of fire from my army and they even inflicted a casualties of their own by virtue of really good rolls.

Was playing a 2v2 game of new 6th ED Khorne army & Necrons versus a metric crap ton of grey knights... I told them Kharne was ridiculous... they didnt believe me... aside from Kharne eating 5 of mordraks grey ghosts, mordrak, and an inquisitor. He must have had a brother who was unwritten in the fluff as an unknown berzerker driving a rhino proceeded to tank shock a dreadknight... dreadknight would pen on a 2+ with a reroll... he rolled a 1 both times... grey knight player looks at me and says "what happens now?"... I lol'd...

I routinely take a mob of flash gitz with baddrukk.
One game he alone took out
2 dreadnaughts
Sniped an apothecary out of a command squad
And took out a chapter champion from said command squad
Also took out the artificier captain in ond round with full wounds
My roll to hit 6, 6, 1 gets hot used an ammo runt reroll came up 6 I put them all on his captain. My friend rolls three 1s for look out sir, then rolls three 3s for iron halo. I felt so bad

Also the same game I had a squad of eavy armored nobs with painboy and megaboss. Turn 1 their trukk gets blasted. Lucky ramshackle roll, no wounds. The squad loses its last model turn7. On turn 5 every model in the squad, including megaboss had one wound left. This was a pilliage mission for CSM in tbe battle missions book so every opponent turn that I had a scoring unit on an objective I got a point. Also the game has to start with 1 HQ and two troop on the board, everything else in reserve. I had flash gitz in turn 3 (nothing on turn two) and everything of my opponents came in turn two. And this was after nob faq for nob squads and look out sir. They absorbed so much fire. I had to give them all some more trinkets on their armor and a new coat of warp'aint. Great game

Abaddon vs a Deathwing Sergeant with TH/SS in a challenge.

Abaddon rolled maximum attacks, hitting with all but one and wounding with all that hit.

The Sergeant saved all with his Storm Shield and then kicked the feth out of Abaddon, taking two wounds off of him and winning the challenge.

That was the last turn of the game and that one act of bad assery meant that the objective was contested and won me the game by one point, where he should have lost and cost me the game.

He is now a Deathwing Champion with a converted model and has killed many heroes in challenges since... Including The Sanguinor.

I've sold my DW army, but kept the model as he will be going into my new Vanilla Marine army.

My friend made 8 everliving saves on his one overlord and his other one made 5. Neither died. Neither. Died.

Not something awesome I've done myself, but something that was fething hilarious and happened to me (or rather my opponent.)

It was Imperial Guard vs Flood-slogging orks. He had 2 or so Leman Russes and a Basilisk. I was about half way across the battlefield, 2 turns away from assault. He fired his basilisk at my horde of boys. It manages to scatter MAX distance... Straight onto the commander retinue of the Imperial Guard and glancing one of the Leman's. The Command Squad was, understandably, vaporized by the single direct hit of the basilisk, while the Leman suffered minor damage (I think just a shaken or something, might not even have gotten to shoot because of it.)

Next turn, after I've moved up, the Leman Russ, still alive drives back 6' to widen the gap from the encroaching ork horde. It fires its main gun and.... Scatters straight back, directly on top of itself. It penetrated itself (giggity?) and managed to get a weapon destroyed result, blowing the Main Battle canon to smithereens.

If I recall correctly, the three of his tanks killed less than a dozen boys throughout the entire game COMBINED. Ahh.... good times.

Most memorable times for me is the few times Inquisitor Valerias hyperstone cube worked for me, once on the avatar of khaine I think its spelled? And the other was on...I think his name was Kanis Wolfborn? Pretty fun games considering!

First game my buddy and I played after the new Tau 'dex dropped and he's creaming-his-pants/foaming-at-the-mouth at the prospect of them wrecking shop.

First turn he fires, a couple of Long Fangs die.
Me, advance rhinos.
Second Turn, one gets hot, the other scatters wildly.
Me, advance rhinos, disembark Rune Priest attached to Grey Hunters. Target crisis suits unit in front, JotWW hits crisis suit and BOTH Riptides. All die.

1) Had a tricked out Dreadknight in cover. Gets assaulted by both the Swarmlord and a Trygon. Kills both.

2) My necrons versus a CSM army. Had a lone destroyer with a Heavy Gauss Cannon roaming, decides to take a pot shot at the Landraider. 6 to hit, 6 to pen, 6 on damage chart. BOOM!

3) Playing my Blood Angels against old Tau (5th edition). Had a single Honor Guard squad with Jump Packs and Meltaguns. He castled his Hammerheads in the corner of the table, with about a 4x4 box behind them. I say Screw It, and deep strike right behind them with only an inch between the table edge/my unit/his hammerheads. Roll a direct hit. Now my meltaguns are directly behind his tanks in a protected corner, and his tears taste delicious. No guts, no glory!

Most awesome thing Ive ever done with a wolf guard terminator(storm bolter and power sword) was charge farsight bomb deal three wounds and make like 20 or so 2+ svs and then watched as they failed leadership and ran off the board... all from a single terminator...

Had two occurrences of brilliant things happening. The most recent was my Legion Praetor against Necrons. Killed two Tomb Spyders before charging with a unit of Legionnaires into a Necron Destroyer Lord and 5 Wraiths. Challenged the Lord only to fail MSS test. The legionnaires were killed and my Praetor managed to survive his own attacks and live to fight again. Managed to Kill the Lord and two Wraiths before the game ended.

Second is an old one. Had a Tau battlesuit Commander shas'o from 4th edition I believe survive 3 invulnerable saves against Black Templars or suffer instant death. I survived all three and charged a Chaplain and managed to kill him in combat. Was then charged by the Emperors Champion on the last turn and managed again to survive two Invulnerable saves or die only then to deal the Champion a wound. He didn't run but not bad for a Tau in combat.

Anyway that's my two cents.

It seems what goes around comes around. The last time i pitted marines against IG, I had some amazing luck, like passing 4/4 6+ cover saves from barbed wire, only losing 2 guys to marbo, great scatter rolls for DSers....

And then today, I send my 205 point, 3-relic (5 shot bolter, 2++ armour, many-attacks-chainsword) SM captain against 2 guardsmen in CC, who just passed a 25% test on snake eyes. One guardsmen has a melta... hits on overwatch... wounds. I have a 2++ ... so naturally I roll a 1. I would have been irritated, but A) I was winning 10-1 on VP on T3, and B) it was so funny, I didn't really care.

Today my full wound abbadon the despoiler rampaged through a squad of space marines (not too impressive) he then proceeded to challenge Mephiston and lose spectacularly. He didn't cause a single wound and was killed in about 2 rounds. It would have been funny had I not then lost.
