Hey all,

Played a game the other day and proxied a Slaanesh heavy Daemon army.
Normally I am everything about Nurgle... But something about a super fast, in your face turn 2 army is super enticing!

I dislike the Daemonette models (which is what turned me off from playing them in the first place), so I went home and let my creativity go to work;

Turned out pretty sweet, still looks moderately like a Daemonette (it especially will once I paint up it all Slaanesh like).
It's a rough conversion at the moment, I still need to clean up all the mold lines and such, and I will be feathering everything together with greenstuff within the next day or so.

What do you guys think?

I like it.
I found a similar idea from someone on dakka, though he didn't add the tails. I do like the tails though.

Tails balance them nicely and they look very daemonette-ish, i'll look forward to seeing them come to life with paint!

It looks like a nice and easy conversion with a great finished product.

Very cool - the tongues fit in with the whole Slaanesh look, too. When I was working on a Khorne army I mixed some Tzeentch flamers together with Bloodletters by doing an arm-swap, I think it ties an army together under one god nicely while still allowing you to play all the units.

Yeah I found a few similar conversions after I posted, but all slightly different. I have a paint scheme that should set mine apart also

I will probably be creating a P&M blog about this army here pretty soon, since I am now going to make a slew of these daemons and am already converting a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh (as well as a completely converted Keeper of Secrets!) to lead my hord of converted Daemonette's! I may toss one more picture here before migrating to that area.

I finished the sculpting of the joints and transition areas but now am contemplating adding a piece of armor... Since each of the the Daemonette models have some sort of armor on (but they don't have an amor save.. Which is kinda an odd sculpting choice by GW) I am curious however if it will distract from the whole conversion

I'm from the future. The future of space

I'm probably going to copy your idea. That's fantastic.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Interested in your work on the keeper and daemon prince ;D What colour scheme did you pick then? I wasn't really attracted by the green tongues from the picture I posted, I do hope you can set your work apart

I had a thought of using dryads as demonettes yesterday, as i dislike the demonette models. though the dryads have some really hard to reach mold lines. >.>

Bravo, looks pretty good.

Can we see what this looks like painted? I'm intrigued.

Very nice conversion. Even without the greenstuff to hide the joints, they look very good.

Definitely 'Slaneesh' without the gratuitous nudity. Nice work!
