Haven't seen the new tank yet, but I've seen the Centurions, and I have to throw my 'WTF?' into the ring as well.

Now, I actually quite like the baby carrier that is the DreadKnight, so I apparently already have what the internet at large would consider bad taste in models, but those things look a tad silly. Still, I have no doubt that they'll be nigh undefeatable on the table (my Wraithguard/Splinter weaponry/horde of Toxin Sac Hormagaunts would say otherwise though) so they'll sell like hotcakes.

And I really hope the Astartes model Evangelion is a bad joke on someone's part. It looks like someone took an R2 unit and bolted it onto a Transformer with weaponry overcompensation issues.

Still, we shall wait and see, and then I shall enjoy the fact that most of the Vanilla Marine players round my way have either bowed out of the hobby due to prices, or are on a limited budget so I probably won't end up facing many of these things anyway!

I'm unsure if it's photoshopped (in the wake of those wobbly marines) but yes, you can make things from scratch in photoshop (or edit other stuff to look like other stuff). You just have to be really incredibly good at photoshop, and maybe illustration.

It's not often vanilla Marines get a unit that looks flat out terrible. Uninspired, but not terrible.

See, that just proves it's real. GW will then sue the creator of Votom for stealing their idea

In my defense if you put it beside the Centurion it doesn't look like it's photoshopped. It'll just seem like the design team doesn't give a flying feth anymore in design.

Looks like the dancing robot thing is a joke. Either someone's kitbash or just something thrown together in Photoshop. That's probably why it's so blurry, if it wasn't you'd be able to see through the fakery much more quickly.

Bear in mind that no flying base model has been mentioned at all up to now, no mention of such a thing by whoever was leaking the WD content, or anything else to even hint that such a thing was coming. If there was anything like this in the WD it would have been mentioned long ago. So I'm not going to immediately react with horror because an unconvincing fuzzy picture suddenly popped out of thin air.

Good we can save all the horror for the centurions then

Honestly, IMO, GW has released worse. These models do look silly, but they can look better with a little work (clip side toes, remove extra plates by groin, shave down lower leg).

That robot is fake, I'd bet.... No design consistency at all with any other 40k stuff, looks more gundam to me. Centurions aren't that bad, but that yellow pain job is certainly doing them no favors lol! Tank turrets look cool though

If it's a real model, there are two possibilities:

1. Games Workshop were unable to keep secret the Centurions, two new veteran kits, seven exclusive covers for the book and a whole new weapon category, but were somehow able to keep a giant robot that looks to be several inches tall completely under wraps.

2. Whoever had access to the next WD showed remarkable self-control in not mentioning the fact there was a giant robot which we had previously never heard of in there.

Given every other Codex/army book release in recent memory neither sounds likely. That's why I'm saying its fake until better evidence emerges - I think it's fair to give GW the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Tank is nice. I've still not seen the single shot missile version, but the twin multibarrelled cannons look impressive. Here's hoping they're only S5/6 so my Stormraven can still fly with impugnity...

Yes, that he is a towering Colossus of talent compared to whatever trained monkey-slave they chained to a Mac and forced to digitally sculpt these atrocities against the human eyeball.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'.
