Do LARP/Dagorhir weapons count? I’m finishing two javelins, and a speed bat today, minus the pommels on them.

Touching up my Bullgors and assorted Chaos Monsters with a fresh coat of some paint here and there, and rebasing to rounds(finally) in anticipation of AoS 2.0. I never bothered prior to now because I felt they were too expensive points wise in previous GHB's but they were mentioned to be getting a points reduction in the Brayherd faction focus. I'm hoping to be able to field a large Warherd force with accompanying Gorgons and Cygors, and Ungor Raider allies.

Finishing my Hulkbuster today, and putting more paint on Wonder Woman. Hoping to get her close to done as well

Well, got this done yesterday, looking to have Wonder Woman close to done today so I'm finished up painting Batman stuff. My group is starting Blood Bowl soon, so I'll probably prime my Skaven team and start to get that ready for playing as well

Finally got around to building the Rotigus version from the GUO kit. Sweeeeet model.

While waiting for my Astrogranite Debris to dry on my hellblasters, I'm putting together some more Primaris marines. They are the newest additions to my army and I want to see if the intercessors can replace my tacticals.

I'm a huge fan of tactical marines, so if they do end up being better I will be quite sad. (I will play tacticals in friendly games, but I want to use what is best at events)

Rebased all three Maggothlords and Glottkin to appropriate AOS bases from their WHFB bases. Did a little building up of the bases with Gatorboard and shale. When that's set and dried, I'll base and flock to match the ever-expanding Maggotkin army.

Finished Wonder Woman today, so my Batman and Marvel collection is completely painted. Next up are my TNT warband and my Skaven Blood Bowl team, although they will probably have to wait a week because exams are next week

finishing up some terrain for DBA to take to an event tomorrow

I'm going to try and finish a kubelwagon and mortar team for my K47 slow grow league, which should be everything I need to get up to the 1250 tournament at the end.

Painting GSC models (10 neophytes and 5 acolytes).

Dived into heavy gear blitz.

It is not the small scale(28mm, 1/144 scale robots) that was the issue, it it is damn slick plastic dream pod 9 is using.
Its like holding plastic that has been dipped in oil.

Still working away at my White Speaker for Kingdom Death -- great sculpt!

@FD - pre-soak all of that stuff in dishwashing detergent, because it probably *was* soaked in oil (industrial lubricant).

Today I have mostly been painting a big chunky 'not' Stargate bit of scenery and experimenting with rebasing aquarium plastic plants for Ths Drowned Earth

Painting my Deathwing Knights. I bought them second hand and whoever put them together did not clean them up very well or think about how they would actually be painted. I'm considering cutting off the shield hand so that I can reach things.

Making a batch of alien jungle terrain for the local Infinity group.

Finally managed to sneak in some hobbying and built a PH/SS/JP captain for my Salamanders out of the Deathwatch Ortan Cassius

DBA event in Bakewell yesterday, managed 23rd from 28...

I also now dislike elephants, even when beautifully painted and played by an excellent and very friendly player in an enjoyable game...


Today has seen an effort to clear some part finished models from my desk, 8 ork boyz getting the final dust dry brush they have been waiting for for weeks (took half an hour) and then 13 tyranids got the dry brushing and highlighting completed.

Moved on to the next project, some 28mm SS... I last touched them in 2015..

just need to remember how they hell I painted these



I did write it down.. and since that was 2015 I have no idea where the book is.

Mind you, also have no idea where the other half of the army has gotten to, a nice challenge for the this week I think

Found a Dark Avengers Miss Marvel shoved away in a box, so I'm currently painting her up as the hero version of Miss Marvel as an option for my Avengers

Mostly finished the subassemblies on my second Imperial Knight (from the original Imperial Knights: Renegade box set). Just the gun arms and their associated magnets to go.

Hope to get the airbrush going to get the plate areas of my "Free Choppa" Orknight painted.

Here it is unpainted with clear primer. Still gotta figure out what to have instead of the typical Knight banner.

Thinking up a name for my up-and-coming PDF/Imperial Guard regiment. I've got all the lore down, I'm just missing a name.

In the process of reworking some Hexwraiths. One can clearly tell that I have not touched some of these the past five years.

I might get some SCE too because the new malign sorcery stuff seems to be pretty neat.

First airbrushed 2 steps, first light gray and then green, to 45 gretchins. These are now ready for brush work. Then assembled castellan knight up to "start painting" since I need to paint them before final assembly. Then not satisfied with this I assembled 4 helverins to same stage. Rather productive day I would say.

Metallics and some highlights on my TNT warband, so that they're closer to being finished. Tomorrow I'll be doing the browns to finish them off, then it's another game ticked off the backlog

Currently I'm going to be on a solid two week painting spree to get my 1500pts of custodes ready for a small tournament.

Assembled a squad of Warlord metal SS, MMG team and a Pak40, well apart from the heads as I ran out of glue, but can at least get the base filler applied tomorrow.

Also a bit more painting on some assembled a few years back, trying by many errors to work out what colours I used on the finished ones
