More basecoating on the menu tonight for my Farsight Enclave Tau. Started the Riptide last night, found i actually enjoy painting the damn thing. Not nearly as daunting as i thought it was going to be !

Stamping my feet in frustration while everyone else around here seems to be getting their shipping notifications for deadzone!

Also, burning money on Miniature Market's black friday sales, damn deals are bad for my wallet!

Additionally, I rebased 10 corporation marines to clear acrylics, may do a few more after a bit. Still eying my extra steel warriors too, they build and paint so fast.

I think I'm going to start one soon. I've been looking through a bunch lately, and as much as I paint (notice I said as much, not how well) I would have almost daily updates.

Wishing I had bought the new technical paints yesterday....specifically the oxide and rust paints. All the shops are closed today for football and face stuffing. I will still put more paint on the foam core DIY ruins I made a week ago. A four piece set I am calling the Reichstag for now. Looking pretty sexy so far.

Knight Forscale has white in him, gotta do the layering for that plus red trim and metals. Put yellow down on my junk pile now I need to decide if I wanna keep spraying or if its brush time. Almost done swapping corporation marines to their clear acrylics.

Testing out some crackle medium I got from the art supply store. It still needs to dry properly but at $15 for 250ml rather than GWs $6 for 12ml I'm already convinced I made the right choice.

I also tried out some ground pigments as a weathering powder but I'm not as happy with that (yet).
