Assault Cents... i will laugh if anyone actually fields those things lol. Dont feel like doing the math but arent they more expensive than the same wounds worth of hammer/shield termies, and lack the invul just for T5? Rather T4 and 3++ since theyre both going to be hammered with S7+ weapons anyway for the AP or rate of fire purposes. And my warboss will paste them anyway


I'd be highly surprised to see anyone field those over assault termies. Dev cents seem to be the only way to go, IMHO

That is why you join an IC with them that has access to divination. Not optimal, but they aren't as worthless as mutilators.

And thats why i just countercharge you either with a good melee unit or a tarpit. SNP cannot overwatch, and i sure as hell aint letting you get +1 attack on those things when whatever little overwatch i get wouldnt hurt you through that 2+ anyway.

Purely theoretical. You don't know that you would be in a position to counter charge or tarpit, depending on how the game unfolds.

A unit of them coming out of a Landraider with an IC will destroy anything they hit.

It is not optimized, but it would work.

heres another reliable delivery system... max squad of cultists with Kharne/Chaos lord with AP2 weapon... dialogue should go like this... "Laddy dah dee dah... Oh look, fresh meat!"

or like people have mentioned earlier, hide a chaos lord on a juggernaut/bike with nasty weapon in a unit of spawn and run them towards those cents... should eat em every time, while your drakes eat up the rest of his power armor... provided he hasnt brought stalker/hunter... inwhich case you trump this with havocs and A-cannon spam...

Cents don't have inv saves? Ha! Thanks for taking away any worries I had about dealing with them.

Grav Cents wound these on 3+ or 2+ and they only get a 5+ invul or cover save. They are far from a hard counter.

And they re-roll to wound with the 5 grav shots.
And they have either a hurricane bolter or missile launcher.
