so, I have been thinking a lot in spare time. (dangerous I know, emperor help me) about which chapter I would WANT to join and why?

I am by no means listing every chapter there is here, so I will give you the main ones. if you have another I did not post, post it, why you would want to and I may add it

as an option

Ultramarines- seem the be the best all around, good warriors, good administrators, fair in most things, and your blue haha.

Dark Angels- the warrior monk feel is just badassery, + the chance to be part of the wings and inner circle is nice. besides I am a quite person by nature

Blood Angles- red+wings+artificer armor= epicness. who doesn't like flying around in a jumppack as a vet? also, all the guys in charge are general "I will take your lunch money" dudes. only negative is the BR and the RT.

PS if I missed some "big" chapters I apologize, I am doing my best :( lol.

I went for Screw that, I am good ole Imperial guard!
I just love the IG. But if that wasn't an option I'd go for dark angels.

Blood Ravens. I may die horribly and have to listen to bad speeches but at least I'd wear red without having to go insane. And occasionally stealing priceless artifacts.

My top 3 favorite chapters would be (In no order)

1) Blood Ravens (I voted for)
2) Imperial fists
3)Space Wolves

failing all that, I would be a Officer in the Dkok army. maybe a artillerist

**Animus**

Ultramarines. It seems like the least painful option, and they're the least messed up. Plus everyone in the Imperium loves an Ultramarine, and I probably would have had a good upbringing in Ultramar.

Ideally I'd be in the Black Dragons. You know, so I could be 40k Wolverine.
But, in a pinch, Salamanders is a solid choice too (ALL the flamers/meltas).

after you got to know them and realized that there's nothing wrong with being by the book, if it's a cool book

Out of that list it would probably have to be the Iron Hands. Close second to the Ultramarines.

Honourable mentions not on the list go to the Exorcists and Minotaurs.

Raven Guard. They basically get ninja shadowwalking skills, and the chapter as a whole puts a focus on efficiently achieving objectives while minimizing casualties.

I want to say Ultramarines, but I'm not big on rigid rules and chains of command. I'd get banished/executed in basic training.

Space wolves, I dont want to meditate or pray before and after battle I want to get piss drunk feast and tell outrageous stories grow massive beards and have most of all have a giant wolf.

Close second would be blood angels. Id have to be a chaplain and led the death company or better know as best job every.

Salamanders. They actually HAVE personal hobbies (even if it's only varieties of craftsmanship) so they don't have the absolutely monotonous existence of the Ultramarines. They are also about as close to righteous as you're going to find in 40k.
