This code worked for me yesterday and brought the price for the expansion down to $21. GMG30-4IMHC-3C8ST I use GMG quite a bit. For most of their games, they'll email you a steam code (you'll use the code to activate it on steam) and it will say in the game's description if steam is required or not. GMG has some sweet deals on occasion and at often offers at least 25% via voucher codes. They even have a trade-in service for old, non-Steam games that you purchase through them. Edit: Just checked and the voucher code is still working.

I picked up system shock 2 because it's a bit of gameing history I missed out on and I want to fix that. See where games like bio shock came from and why people keep saying system shock was better. Sword in the stars the pit. Because fun little rougelike that is less then $2. Also I like the art. Delver. It looked like some kind of cross between minecraft and a rougelike. Figure it might have something to it. I have been looking for a good dungeon craw game and this could be it. At $4 it's not a big risk.
I also noticed this. http://store.steampowered.com/app/251990/ It would have blown my budget if I bought it, but It looked kind of neat and different so I wish listed it to try latter.

If you can get past the now-dated graphics, I think you'll find System Shock is one of the best games of all time.

So I hear, but it's a totally mixed bag when it comes to old games that people say are the best. Some I enjoyed. (like arcanum.) some I didn't think deserved the praise they where given, (like fallout 1/2). Enjoy it or not I really want see how it stands up to it's successors like bioshock and dues ex.

There is an option to customize them. How free you are to assign keys I don't know, I'm comfortable with the current key settings though. Z = Jump X = whip A = Throw grappling hook up for climbing S = Throw bomb Direction keys = move left/right, look up/down

Decided to pick up Bioshock Ad-nauseum, wasn't really interested in it, but might as well pick it up now and see what all the hype was about back then.
Current batch of flash sales is rather meh (Already have L.A. Noire on the 360), so looking forward to seeing what's next when I get back from work later today.

So I have a question. I just got a 50 dollar steam card and I'm wondering what I should get. Currently some of the contenders are 'Rome 2: total war' (heard bad things about the A.I. and glitches so I might not get it), company of heroes 2 (most likely going to get it) and the remaining WH40k: Dawn of war 2 expansions (chaos rising and retribution and yeah I know I'm poor and had to choose to put them on hold so shut up). So for me it's mostly in between company of heroes 2 or the dawn of war 2 expansions. I think i'll get the company of heroes 2 game but I'm unsure and hesitant to make a choice somewhat. I think i'll get company of heroes 2 but some input would be nice. Some say it didn't add anything new to company of heroes but I haven't even played the first one so that shouldn't matter.
What I got the steam card for originally was so I could wait until 'xcom: enemy within' went on sale if at all possible (holding out hope even though it's new).

CoH2 is quite poor, CoH is markedly superior and the complete CoH pack is currently on sale for £10 or the base game is £3.50. CoH 2 is essentially CoH but with (slightly) better graphics, some irritating game mechanics, a fairly forgettable single player campaign and poorly balanced multiplayer, it really has little to recommend it.
Rome 2 isn't all that bad, I would actually rate it above Shogun 2 and while its not the Rome 2 that I was hoping for it is worth £15.
If you get any of the DoW expansions then I would probably get Retribution.
Enemy within may be on the Christmas sale but I would be surprised if it is anything more than 10-15% off.

What about 'Wargame: Air Land Battle'? Yeah I know I know I didn't get that yet either but I'm very curious what I should choose. I'm very much into the whole soviet and russian vibe of things but more so with more modern equipment or at least the end of the Cold War.
@Avatar 720: Yeah I'm a big soviet themed fan too. I more like fighting them. The style of soviet stuff is pretty nice.
Also I dunno maybe I can get over-hyped easily with some things but some of those CoH: 2 trailers were super sexy.

No, CoH has an unofficial modification that needs regular updating and a lot of bug-fixing to use.
CoH 2 is an official, stable game that adds what I was looking for.
