Does someone remember if the Genestealers have 1 or 2 sets of Rending Talons in their leaked entry?

I am over joy about my favourite race come out!

In early of rumour in this topic said Harpy wing look too small compare to it body... It look good and boating like helium inside it body. Like helium airship, if it have same crash chart as flier then it would explain why! Heh.

And Haruspex must be powerful in close combat.. Like pac-man!

It just says "Rending Claws" under "Weapons and Biomorphs" so just one set. Adding Scything talons would get you 1 more attack than the previous codex, in addition to whatever special rules ScyTals actually grant.

Bah, didnt know those were old rules. I've never ventured out of the standard codex. I always thought if they added some increased movement speed to our mc's it would really help the army.

Agreed. Here's hoping they take a page from the Maulerfiend and give the Haruspex 12" movement to help it close distance reasonably. Less than a week until we find out!

I will be busy next weekend when the book drops, unfortunately. Lots of late night reading until I can hit the table I suppose. I think I'll get in about 6 games on my first day with it. lol

I hope our codex comes out balanced. I've heard a couple guys talking about codex hopping to it already, so hopefully its not over the top, out of balanced to ward away from the trendy players. I kinda like being one of the few nid players at my FLGS

My group must be really meta than, because about one in every 4 of us have a nid army. Nids are our space marines over here

If you go Haruspex heavy will you be performing the Waka before each battle?

Aren't Nids the 2nd most popular army right behind vanilla SM?

Would make sense from what I've seen. Maybe that guy has the odd local group with hardly any Nid players.

I'm the only Nid player in my group as well. The most common army I see here is Chaos Marines currently.

In my local player group we have 3 Ork, 3 Tau, 2 Guard, 1 Space Wolf, 3 Space Marines, and 1 Eldar,

I'm the only Tyranid player.

Of them all I think Orks and Guard get more table time. Orks are a tough nut to crack at the moment, Ork Boyz are so good, and so cheap.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

Nids are very likely the most popular Xenos codex, and it is very possible they are the second most popular army. They are the only other army to get an update every single edition a long with.. you guessed it, Space Marines.

It seems like there have been "Sources" that have also alluded to this in the past, but I don't believe there has ever been 100% confirmation on it. It is reasonable to speculate this, with a release every edition though.

Honestly I have not seen a single Tyranid player in years. It will be very nice to fight something else other than Space Marines.

Tyranids are a popular army, but they have been overshadowed for several years by more competitive xeno armies. The resault has been the decline of "serious" tyranid players. Lots of people have some genestealers and some warriors left over from 4th edition.Very few have complete up to date Tyranid armies.

Never underestimate the Genestealers ability to sweeping advance EVERYTHING!

Yeah in my local group im the only person who even plays nids and they aren't a main army.

Nids are my main and I have seriously large collection of them. These new Nids look fething glorious and I can't wait.

Also keen for these plastic Bio-Titan rumours to be true as I would love more Nid titans!

They have pics of it on its large oval base, from multiple angles and in the battle report, so I would say we have a decent idea.

Here is a great top down shot:

Thanks. A friend got a tyrannofex and the hugeness of the model is awesome. The model itself... Not so much. But the exocrine, all I would have to do is extend the carapace to cover the eyes.

Do we know what the difference between the Exocrine and the Tyrannofex role-wise will be? I pre-ordered a Haruspex/Exocrine box but also just picked up a Tervigon box, most likely will be building it as a Tervigon.
