Yeah... it's depressing. I guess guard players need to be experts and speed painting with all those troopers to crank out.

2) Yes. So much so, we were going to require those, but they are hard to come by.

DT, those are the same pic. Also, if you look under the photo, there are easy options for sharing it.

Um... when does the competition end??

Gits, currently its january 22nd. But i think February 1st is a more reasonable deadline. Mainly accomadating those that finished up with skalks comp. Im not married to anything. In that regard if anyone has any issue just blast me a PM.

OK bebop, thanks. Have been majorly derailed (literally) as I'd purchased a small train layout for my youngest son from down-sizing FLGS & we just got it set up. There's been nothing but model RRing around here for the last two days.

No stress Gits This isnt a race. LOL.!! Despite the title! Id rather you guys finish than not make an arbitrary rule.

I'm finished. But I haven't uploaded photos yet. I'm not sure whether I'm happy with it though.

@ Snrub : leave it for two days, do something else. Then come back to your guardsman. Do you like him ? If not, then you might have to rework him a bit.

Minus that's good advice. And I appreciate your confiding in me but I'm simply one of 3 impartial judges. I urge you to share your wip here so everyone can be inspired and see what you're up to. At the very least avoid painting the same scheme as you by accident

My guard is almost finished. I only wonder if I'll add some battle damages on the armor plates, or not.
I'll post images here when I'm done. I only send you the WIPs so you can see I'm involved in the contest and my entry is in progress. If I intended on corrupting you, I'd send you money. Or cookies. ^_^

Two boring old guardsmen - nothing special, just some commissarial target practice.

Seeing the work on here I think I had better get on that second entry, not that I stand a chance against this work. Got to come up with something different I think.
