Everyone at my work has provided their Cellphone number to their peers in case of emergency. Everyone except one person.

That person is never called at home while the others are. That person is still paid the same or more than the others who have written down their contact number.

The world is cruel and unfair.

Sort of similar but like 2 weeks ago my entire company except for me got let out of work at noon because of a big snow storm. They all got payed for 8 hours while only working 6. I however had to work 8.5 hours and shut the entire shop down by myself while still only getting payed for 8.5 hours. You are correct the world is a cruel place sometime lol. This is the joys of being a key holder and 1 of 6 people out of 80 that knows the buildings alarm code.

Maybe the person is a crazed murderer who the bosses dont want to upset.

Or maybe that one person is imaginary which would explain why they don't have a phone and their existence is just a running gag within the company.
