Well no other supplement or campaign book saw a model release, right?

Would be a good strategy, though.

Heh.

It's like listening to two dope-heads standing in line at the methadone clinic!

So I have I and I've not even considered a Soritas army in an age.. I just know if they go plastic GW gets two from this house alone, Aura and me.

So much i could quote there with you all...

But yeah...holding out for plastic sistas, thunderhawk, harridan, wazdakka, and a lot more.

The only thing that has me being otimistic about the harridan though is the khornemower, necron tesseract vault, and escalation. One would only hope that they would "escalate" this more by making thunderhawk and harridan...

I think a Dominatrix stirs my blood more than a Harridan.. although saying that I'm optimistically terrified about the redesign.

For sure! I was just reading the old fluff for nids again and saw the bit about her. There feels like a void without her in there somewhere.

True, if they made all that horse gak why not a plastic Harridan, too?

And I guess those were "wave" releases in a sense.

That's exactly why there will never be a model called a Dominatrix.. they may redesign it, but that name won't stay and it's because people call it a "she" when it's a Tyranid! That kind of association is why that name is an awful name heh. GW has serious issues with nipples let alone a name ascribed to those working in the bdsm/sex industry.

The time of the Dwarves is now!!!

Also I have a feeling like Bretts are done for. I dont like it but, it has been a decade with no word of a new book, very few viable tactics, and dwindling supply of model, I think sadly their time has come.

Aye to be fair I'd dig a plastic Harridan, Aura owned the FW one back in the day but we sold it when we moved due to space. We never saw it together sadly, but damn the wings where impressive.

According to a rumour just posted on Natfka, Brets are either getting squared or rolled into a kingdom's of men army book. http://natfka.blogspot.com/2014/01/bretonnians-getting-rolled-into-empire.html?m=1

Right, and on the other side they have no problem with "crone", "harpy", "harridan" or "termagant".

I doubt that these rumours are credible because FW simply cannot support the level of production that would be required if its kits were made available to order from the main website and from the stores.

I also do not believe that GW would slate only the poorest performing fantasy armies for release in 2014.

The best way to handle suspect or potentially disreputable sources of rumors is to not comment on them so that they can drop off the front page into Oblivion.

The "Sling Crap To Wall, Observe What Sticks" approach isn't really much fun.

Or useful.

Plastic Harridan, Plastic sister, plastic thunderhawk ?

That's nothing, I'm still hoping that this inquisitor skirmish game will release soon. And since 40k radio hasn't scheduled anything for Febreuary, I convinced myself that February will be "le grand soir".

Now that's delusional

After the disasterous rumor turnout for nids, I hesitate to believe much of anything. With bretonnia on this list it's a direct contradiction of another 'good source'

And if they are dumb enough to continue to ignore orks, well it's their loss i suppose.

Bit disapointed by the new Tryanid models really and a bit worried what we might get actually for Orks...

Sisters seemed to do very well in digital sales - at least one store manager I spoke to was very positive about it and the prospect of plastics for them - but we have heard that before.....

Amusingly enough, I don't think Sisters have ever gotten one of those since I started playing them. And I started playing right after the 2nd edition book came out (right before 3rd).

So, Celestine model + Exorcist model + new Immolator kit + a bunch of other stuff was not a real release ?

So, what made this store manager very positive about it ? Did he sold many digidex ? Oh, wait, he/she can't sell it at all ! So, maybe he/she did sell a lot of Sisters model ?
.
Right now, I'm just more waiting on Privateer Press to release U.A. for trollkin sluggers or pyg bushwackers than for GW to release plastic sisters. Because I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe any U.A. are coming for those Hordes units, but I have reasons to believe plastic sisters are NOT coming .

We were chatting after he had been to a Store Managers meeting and had had feedback on how well it had sold digitally ............. plus he does not like Metal so really looking forward to plastic versions. Best I can do

I did buy a 4th Exorcist and a 7th Immolator after the Codex came out..............and a few more melta guns

That was more a wave since we didn't get a real new codex.

I'd rather have new models than a new codex. Especially since our codex don't seem to really improve much.
