Update #91

Mar 23 2016

At the factory until Sunday. Getting lots done!

I am still here at the casting facility and will be until Sunday. It is a little trickier for me to get updates out while I am up here but will make up for it when I get home.

I really love seeing these models get cast in resin. What is really surprising is how much better I like them once they have been cast in resin. Something about the resin finish really suits the models. Here you can see the production masters next to the castings. The resin looks so consistent, and takes the primer beautifully. The mold line makes the lightest wispiest web of flashing, that a finger can remove. I am extremely impressed with the casting.

There are so many excellent questions and comments that I will be doing a video Q and A session to go over them. I also miss doing the vids for you and connecting with you that way. All of the info will be available as a written transcript as well for those who do not prefer the video format.

The shipping plan has a lot of moving parts to consider. While the models are being manufactured we have time to design the plan that offers the best value to the backer. Lots more to add on this when I get back into the office.

Sorry about the short update, but rest assured there will be a lot to report once I get back, plus the Q and A. I am thinking about a contest to send out a few models before the 1st shipping wave, for studio painting purposes. This would include backers posting pics of their best model as a qualifier, and then I could get a panel of judges on my end to pick the best painters to then paint up some Creature Caster studio models. The painters would paint the models, photograph them, send the pics and then keep the model. Let me know what you think in the comments section.

Back soon. Take care.

I'm not always this cynical but in Jeremy's case... seems he wants backers to paint studio models for free, but they'll get their minis a year (? I'm not even sure at this point.) late instead of a year and a bit.

Pincer demon looks nice though, glad it's the one I bought.

I had similar thoughts. This contest appears to be a cheap grab at free paintwork/promotion. I didn't think I could lose any more respect for Jeremy at this point but color me surprised!

This might be weird, but would anyone pledged for a Vulture Demon have interest in selling/transferring pledge?

I was late to the party on this one (a poor pun considering the massive delays on this kickstarter's fulfillment) but interested in picking this up if they ever see the light of day.

I hadn't been keeping up lately so I checked the recent updates.

I love how he says he will update again next week (april 4th update), but still nothing new over 2 weeks later. Also the fact that he is so worried about getting copies out to painters yet just doesn't seem concerned to get these out to the backers. Plus he is still getting shipping quotes. November is still looking good, just not the right year.

Tbh i think Lwarren16 is either Jeremy or his wife as a mean to troll or release pressure/ pass time.

OR that guy socks Jeremy's "fourth letter of the alphabet" all day long and only breath to post about how "Douchebags" are some people for asking even a shred of evidence that this project will be complete one day , or that Jeremy didn't buy a second house with the money and is paying Casterguy (which happen to live 1 block far from him but totally didn't knew each other even through "all his contacts to the industry) with the rent.

But i mean how dare them ask where the guy went with $324K ? heh those are Dbag right ?? right ???

Friendly reminder that you can all ask for a charge-back through your banks and it will be done since Jeremy never bothered even the simplest answer to any bank investigation on his case (which automatically resolve into the chargeback)
Probably because answering would prove that the money is gone.
Also, some dragon additional part still aren't sculpted, which means aren't even close to being 3D printed this semester.

If only i could still post on the CreatureCaster comment section...

Update #93

Apr 23 2016

Almost ready to post the Shipping Manager

We are putting the final touches on the Shipping Manager, which will handle the payments for shipping so you can get your Creature Caster miniatures. It is straight forward and easy to use.

It will still be a little while before launching, and we will make sure to announce it's launch with an official notice so you know it is there.

I have been struggling mental health issues and it has most greatly effected me over the past few weeks. This however has not impacted the production of the miniatures in any way as they are taken care of at the facility, but it has impacted my update schedule. I apologies for missing you for the past two weeks.

We have had a meeting, and you will be getting more regular updates from the casting facility itself. There they will be showing you pics of completed model kits as they come out of production.

On my end I will be painting models and posting pics as often as I can. I am stable and the production is full steam ahead. I understand that you are more eager than ever to get your miniatures since they are becoming ready, but I thank you for you patience while we cast and prepare your pledge.

You will be getting your first update from the facility this week. Thanks everyone.

Jeremy

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Honestly at this point I'd just like my money back, but alas my bank are rubbish. Who wants to take bets on whether or not Jeremy manages to find some new Artisinal shipping & handling company that requires us to pay out the arse to actually get the sodding things posted?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

He probably started a shipping company where people dressed as Canadian Mounties will hand deliver them to the addressee. And by people I mean person, so if you are low on the totem pole you'll be last to receive, and the guy has to wait at doorsteps for delivery.

I like how he has a new patsy for updates as he and Kenny could not be bothered with timely updates, even after all the promises.

Oh and Lwarren16 promised me that he would buy my pledge if I just shut up , our correspondences really made it feel like I was dealing with a 16 year old silver spoon in his mouth Beverly Hills brat.

Yeah, same here. When he poo-pooed my complaints by saying $300+ wasn't a lot of money to get so upset over. That's when I started just ignoring his ass.

I can't wait to see shipping and handling costs. Will be the next big "f*** you" to the backers.
One of the reasons I backed this was the hub shipping from within the EU (in my case). If I now will have to pay import taxes, I am seriously considering requesting a charge back through my bank.

Then again, at the moment it all looks like the ship is sailing without anyone steering it. Nice move to completely pull out due to "mental issues".

And regardless of how many time the same question is asked, we never get even the slightest info regarding how much stuff is produced and how much is left.

All this clown achieves at the moment is that his name in the industry will be tainted forever. Either he is too stupid to realize that, or he truly doesn't care any longer (I think it's the later one).

When the Kickstarter was running I called Neal C. at thewarstore.com to see if he was planning on carrying this line of figs once it was out. Lets just say it was a less than flattering opinion of Jeremy that Neal gave me. Then again Neal didn't even know the Kickstarter was running at the time either.

Yay, another update with exact zero information. Simply "Shipping manager nearly finished, final info in shipping cost not yet available, no info about production completion status".

Color me surprised.
