The price, for your legion, honestly isn't to insane for me. That said I won't buy the limited's most likely and I might buy the hardbacks if I like the presentation like I do the Beast series. But it'll depend on the appearance because for a 176pg book I'm loathe to pay to much.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

You did indeed, sadly my guess was way out. It's certainly an expensive little toy for the size of it but they have definitely gone all out with the quality by the look of it, although bonded leather like the Horus heresy big books would have been nicer than leather effect. Which has a slightly tacky sound to it. I'm not sure as the series goes on they will mange to sell 2500 per special edition at ÂŁ40. Particularly if the hardbacks come out at a reasonable price

I was ... Surprised when the actual product page loaded. I knew it was smaller 50,000 words but 176 pages stopped me, but the text is bigger in TBA books so maybe that's what seemed off? Anyway, as usual, for any collector it's awesome but will be the first time I wait for the hardback...sounds like heresy when I say it

I am surprised by the restraint they show in releasing these as trades as opposed to fancy hardbacks, but then again, these were never that great to begin with.

I prefer their inhouse productions myself, which while in black and white, were excellent stories with a stronger editorial control, like Blood Quest, Daemonifuge, Deff Skwadron or the anthology series with loads of short stories, but opinions on what's good or not will vary greatly.
The more recent Macragge's Honour is also a good one.

My opinion none.... I love BL for novels graphic novels I collect Conan and judge dredd. Graphic novels require a very different writing style than novels and not many BL authors can pull it off, obviously mr abnett is an exception but I even then I'm not sure the setting suits comics, I will just stick to the novels.

The Young Wolf's Return
Part 2 of the Legacy of Russ series
With daemons infesting the worlds of the Fenris system and the Space Wolves fighting for their very existence, a new threat emerges: a coalition of Space Marine Chapters ready to destroy the taint of Chaos and all it touches… led by the Dark Angels.
READ IT BECAUSE
Ten millennia of enmity between the Space Wolves and the Dark Angels comes to this: the fate of Fenris and the sons of Russ might lie in the hands of the children of the Lion. What will happen? We can barely begin to guess.
THE STORY
As the Fenris System is beset on all fronts by a vast daemonic incursion, the Space Wolves fight with redoubled savagery and heroism. A conflict of such magnitude cannot remain unnoticed by the wider Imperium however, and over a dozen other Space Marine Chapters, the Dark Angels foremost amongst them, stand ready to enforce the ultimate sanction against those planets drowning under the endless waves of warp-spawn. Worse, the Great Wolf himself, Logan Grimnar, is still missing. Will salvation arrive in time for the Sons of Russ, or will their Chapter suffer a blow from which they might never recover?
