Ah, excellent point. Yeah, having done a bit of reading on Lexicanum, I'm fairly certain the third eye is a warp eye, and combined with the astrolabe, Navigator it is. I like it personally, although not sure what exactly to do with it. Would be a nice model for an Inquisitors retinue.
The only issue is that Navigators keep their eye covered because the third eye kills people.

They do around humans, but around other navigators or inside their dome they have no need to. And in model terms, its better to show the third eye and allow people to mod it by greenstuffing a bandanna or something over it than vice versa.

The snake heads don't have mustaches to twirl and no babies are stapled to the pad. Otherwise it's perfect for alpha legion.
All the pads have been a real disappointment to me, especially the iron warriors pads. I thought the here set era marines were more meticulous with their armor and gear.

I hope to god that they don't mess up Magnus' armor and give him a hat that would make the Queen of England jealous. Some sort of monstrosity like a helmet with an integrated bookshelf would go along well with Alpharius and his new fashion sense.
