OOC: A railgun fires a super-dense mass of metal by accelerating it down rails at massive speeds. The chunk of metal is accelerated with massive magnets. The projectile creates a massive pressure blast near it due to how fast it's going. Your hand is most likely disintegrated and arm pulped. Realistically, you'd be dead, but we're operating on Ork logic.
