You have survived worse, with nearly no scarring whatsoever. He is more fragile than you, and you should know better.

[Powers down bale eye] I don't think Marla would've appreciated my test run being on her boyfriend, even if he was being a jerk.

[Crouches down level to Verviedi] You're not going mad. You're just being overwhelmed. People feel that sometimes... It's how you know you are human. It also happens for good things. [Smiles] So there is balance, if not fairness.

[tosses an apology paper airplane back before jogging into the barracks]

[Catches aeroplane and passes it to Vanden] The stress of being a guardsman cannot be easy.

[Looks at Verviedi] ... [Whistles] [Wolf puppy runs over and puts his head on Verviedi's shoulder, keeping watch]
Perhaps we should formally train you as a service dog... [Puppy rolls eyes but wags tail]

**Sgt. Vanden**

*Accepts letter*

Hrmph...I think V needs this more.

**Buttery Commissar**

I'm not sure he's going to register it right now. [Watches quietly]

...When someone who has been brought up by the Imperium, systematically brainwashed, and then captured and tortured by their worst enemy is one of the voices of reason, you know this place has issues.

[Squeezes Vanden's hand] I'm going to have to sleep, try and rest up, or at least not invoke another injury.. [Looks worried]

[Drops into a hospital bed that's unoccupied and dozes off]

[is now sitting on the barracks roof, tossing a tennis ball from hand to hand]

**Sgt. Vanden**

Ugh...

*Gets ups with difficulty and walks over to where BC is sleeping*

*Lies down in the small cot with him*

*Holds BC tightly*

*Falls asleep*

*Sees zergling15*

"What in the name of all that's holy is THAT?"

*Begins calling for reinforcements, just in case...*

*Several Marines and Firebats, as well as Medics, arrive and spread out, keeping a watchful eye on the creature*

*Turns to find strike team*

*snarls and charges back spines*

[tosses a tennis ball at Zergling's head]

*Sees back spines charge*

"We may need bigger guns..."

*Discreetly communicates with base and requests some Siege Tanks and Thors*

"Nobody shoot unless it attacks."

*Sends ball flying away and starts chasing it*

[watches Zergling chase the ball]

*Gets up and stretches*

*Sees Z15 running around with ball*

[tosses a tennis ball down to Vanden from barracks roof]

*Stares in horror as Z15 begins running towards the medical tents*

*Throws tennis ball into barracks*

*Smashes into barracks and stars looking for the ball again*

*Struggles to walk over to barracks*

[barracks is shaking below his feet]

*Finds ball and stops moving and dead eyes it*

*Picks up balls and tosses it out of barracks*

*Runs after the ball waits for it to stop moving the blasts it with a bolt of electricity*

*Turns around and looks happy*

[Wakes up] ..?
Think I can finally focus through my eye again. Let's test it out.
[ Turns head to the ceiling and begins slowly but carefully etching a design into it] Seems better than normal.

[Focuses again and draws a little love heart whilst nobody's looking]
