Also Shrouded Lord, watch out with the fact that Adeptus Astartes can shrug off poisons in the fluff. In game they're vulnerable to poisons like the rest of the races, so only have a chance to survive a poisoned shot.

Just watch out that it doesn't become a kind of God-mode against other poisoned weapons. I'm not just saying this because I have a Death Jester with a giant poison cannon xD

Oh and gear wise:

Farseer:
Shruiken Pistol (pretty pathetic)
Witchblade (also pretty pathetic)
She's a low level Psyker though.

Troupe Master:
Shruiken Pistol
Eldar Chainsword (pretty much an SM chainsword)

Death Jester:
Shruiken Cannon - fires poisoned shots that can cause the person to explode if they penetrate the armour.

Don't forget to mention the Holosuits and 'Boo' masks, the best part is while Holosuits provide a 5+ invul in the game, fluff wise they work very different. When a Holosuit is activated your entire body turns into a kaleidoscope of colors and blurs your outline completely, making accurate targeting all but impossible. The Masks (they have a name, just CBA to find it) portray whatever the Harlequin wants them to, which in battle is usually the enemies worst fear, but since the suit is holographic as well as the mask that troupe master could conceivably pretend to be a civilian and no one would be the wiser.

Also, for the record, don't down play your basic weaponry. it will be doing most of the heavy lifting. Shuri Pistols lack stopping power but can cut through Termie Armour if enough shots connect, with the Shrieker Cannon just being a bigger version shooting more shots, which just so happen to make you explode. On the other hand Witchblades are immensely powerful weapons depending on how much energy is poured into them, represented by the fact if a Farseer is angry enough she can shove that thing straight through a Land Raider.

Ah yes, I forgot those special gear items...

also the Flip belts for the harlies, in game giving them move through cover by greatly increasing their agility etc.

Cataphractii is actually slightly slower than normal armour.

Tartaros suits, however, are very advanced and not slowing down the wearer at all over Power Armour. They still are as protective as Indomitus.

Ignatious is still the coolest looking.
Dude don't worry I shrugged it off because it was just a pistol. Would have done the same for any pistol. Except plasma.

I believe so. Worry not, though, apparently Termie armor can save you from being stepped on by a Titan.

So how good at killing MEQ are we going to say Hotshot Lasguns/Volleyguns are? Both can get through their armor but only the Volleygun can really put one down reliably?

I'd say lots of shots (so killing one is faster with a volleygun). There's descriptions in the HH books where lasguns manage to hit them and go through their armor, leaving some scorched flesh behind (and an angry Astartes).

Oh man so much happened in my absence, sorry... But ya, inquisitor went to the ground, he is alive, and kinda pissed but you get away. sorry again... and the 48 hours are just to make sure this doesn't go on too long, and get ridiculous, the game is still in the first day though.

No they're not. Tartaros only gives a 6++ whilst regular TDA gives a 5++.

I am going to ignore game mechanics here. The fluff says the protection is equivalent. Just check their FW page.

As for volleyguns and hotshots, they are quite good at penetrating armour (Unlike lasguns, lol) but they pay for it in punch (Still better than lasguns).

There's nothing that 'reliably' takes one down unless you go into the really big guns.

There you go, the shrouded lord. More loyalists to balance things out.

And the greatest of them all too. You best make sure you pay respect towards your spiritual liege.

Ultramarines?

You mean those lads that get owned by Xenos and Iron Warriors all the time?

Having a building dropped on you will at best slow you down, Terminator Armour can survive orbital bombardment and battle cannon shots, you got hit by a few bricks I just intended to cover my escape so a Termie couldn't look round the corner, see Xilian escaping and put a clip of storm bolts into her.

I don't expect any lasting damage to be caused by the stone work.

Yep. But when the exciting conclusion to the story comes our plucky smurfs will always come on top. Because Matt Ward protects.

Ok I've escaped now. I think my people sill link up with the ultramarines and then make a beeline for a ship, to bad there are no black legion, I would have had to kill them first.

Inquisitorial power armor, a force sword, a very nice bolt pistol, a fancy cape, some grenades, and most importantly, a map of the city (in a tablet-esque from)
