I like anime and I still think this is trash.

It's a toy ad commercial. It'll more than likely be written just as that, but since it is anime, people give it a pass.

That said, I do admit that some of the visual design is higher quality than I'd expect in this. But it is hard to tell if that is a consistent thing in the actual show.

Visual design and quality of animation is pretty good, but as you say it might not end up that good in the show. This was the intro credits sequence, so naturally they would have put a lot of effort into it.

The concept of the show obviously is a "Super Sentai" team with five hero members plus supports (kid sister, boffin, etc), only they transform into US super hero characters instead of the Go Rangers (or whatever they are called).

Still, as has been pointed out this really ought to be in the Anime thread. Now I have to figure out if it can be attached somehow.
